He diagnosed my computers problem after I told him my USBs and displays were no longer working/being detected. He figured out it was a motherboard issue very fast! He did a motherboard swap for me, which I'm very thankful for because swapping out the motherboard is kind of annoying! It was all done very fast and for a great price too, very reasonable! Thank you so much! Glad to have my beloved computer back!!! Small note too: He told me I might need to reactivate Windows but it was all good and Windows was still active when I got home, it just wanted me to authenticate my e-mail again to check for my license. Just adding that in if anyone has a similar issue to me (motherboard swap) and you're on Windows 11 (you do not need your license key, just make sure you remember your Microsoft account!)

I had trouble with my laptop. Jacob was able to help me the next day. I have been doing business with him for over 4 years. I bought a laptop from this business and have been very happy with it. My husband has also used Rapid Computer Repair for his Dell and is very happy also. We were referred by our Son to use this service. I would recommend Rapid Computer Repair for your computer needs.

Jake is a super busy dude, with essentially two other jobs. I had an issue with what SHOULD have been a simple RAM installation. He not only solved that issue, but actually replicated another issue I have had with my Frankenstein monster that other, more well known PC places in much bigger cities, told me didn't exist. While he wasn't able to address the second issue, it wasn't what I brought the computer in for in the first place, and I was impressed that he acknowledged the issue in the first place. I ended up getting ahold of RCR when no other computer place in town would answer their phones. He even gave me a pointer on how to assess the issue and potentially fix it ahead of time. He had me drop it off Friday morning, and with hearing my chagrin that I probably wouldn't get it back until Monday made an extra effort to at least assess it that day. Dude went out of his way to get my monster back to me that day, working around an unusual issue. Fortunately he was able to solve it quickly. Fantastic communication throughout the process. TLDR; Jake is an absolute boss and earned a customer for as long as I am within a hundred miles of his store. Dude specifically made time for me through a busy schedule AND verified another issue that other stores couldn't find. Take notes competitors- this is the way to run a computer store. Congrats Jake on the new store, and I look forward to doing business with you again.

I called Jacob from RCR at 9:00am on a Sunday morning with a problem with my business computer. He was very helpful on the phone but I we were not able to fix the problem remotely. Jacob offered to come over and look at it right away and was here within a ½ hr. The problem was resolved in no time at all and business went on as normal. :) We are now working together to update some equipment and software. Five stars all the way. Dan Smith
