uBreakiFix - Phone and Computer Repair

I was told by my cellphone provider that since the battery was about to burst, I'd have to pay $400.00 to pay off the balance on my phone. I was hoping to find a cheaper alternative, and uBreakiFix absolutely saved the day. I stopped in on Monday, they assured me that my phone as not going to explode, and they ordered the new battery right then and there. It arrived Friday morning, and by that afternoon the new one was installed. I just hung out at the donut shop across the street for a few hours, but one could also easily peruse the shops up and down Silver Spring while they waited. The total cost was about $90.00 - much better! Absolutely would go to them for any future issues.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DEVICE HERE! I brought my iPad in on November 5th, 2024 and did not get it back until January 2025—a completely unacceptable turnaround time for a simple repair. My iPad was in perfect working condition (no broken screen, battery issues, or problems with the Touch ID home button). The only issue was that my charger had gotten stuck in the charging port, and I was unable to remove it myself. When I took my iPad in, the technicians also failed to remove the charger and told me they would have to send it out to replace the charging port. I was given an estimated repair time of 4-5 business days and was told I would receive a phone call when it was ready for pickup. However, their communication was absolutely horrendous—they never called with updates or even to inform me when my device was ready. I called multiple times and was repeatedly given different answers. One day, I was told my iPad was “out for delivery” to the store. When I called back, I was told it had just been shipped out from the repare place to the store. After waiting a few more weeks due to the holidays (Christmas and New Years), I called again to ask why such a simple repair was taking so long. That’s when they finally checked the repair notes—and what I learned was shocking. According to their records: They broke the screen and had to replace it. The battery was damaged and no longer charges to 100%. The home button was broken during the repair. They admitted fault for the home button damage and replaced it, but when I finally received my iPad, the Touch ID no longer worked. Worse, the home button now slides around under the screen, gets stuck, and they even left a piece of sponge debris trapped inside the display!

I appreciate they were able to temporarily get the phone to work so we could transfer the data off it. However the customer service from one male rep was awful. I was supposed to be contacted by email when the phone was fixed. The female rep verified my email the night before and said to expect an message when the phone was ready. There had already been 2 day delay while waiting for a part to fix the phone. Many hours after the phone was supposed to be fixed I decided to go to the store since I hadn't received an email. The phone was ready.The rep. stated he didn't have any way to contact me. Then he noticed my email on the account. By this time I had been without my phone for over 3 days.

Had a difficult time with the customer service with the AT&T store in Grafton, as well as AT&T online trying to restore my information from a broken phone to my new one. These guys literally had me in and out in 15 minutes, and was remarkably painless. They showed awesome customer support, and weren’t rude like the above mentioned company. 10/10 recommend this store to anyone who as issues.

I had problems with my phone, the battery needed to be replaced, I entered this service, despite the fact that I do not know English, we spoke through a translator, they served me well and provided information about my phone They replaced my battery in 2 hours, everything is fast, it's nice But in the main I liked everything, I recommend this service to you, everything is professional and at the highest level
