Bought a new washer from Bestbuy. Had Geek squad to come out and install it. Ever since I've gotten it, only hot water would come out of the washer. Called them, and they said everything was done correctly and refused to send someone back out. Messed up my clothes for a long time before realizing they didn't connect the hoses to the correct spouts. Two dudes, and you're telling me not one of them noticed or tested it out before leaving? Plenty of clothes ruined from the hot water and they got paid for a job they didn't even do correctly. Do yourself a favor and have a company that strictly works on the service you need done. I'd never use them again, and I would never recommend them again.

I’d give no stars if possible. My experience has been nothing but a waste of time and lack of accountability for doing so. 1) Made an appointment on 11/06/24 for a diagnostics test for my phone that kept turning off at 100% battery and turn back on and be on 10%. Come to find out my battery was running below 70% capacity and was told by one of the geek squad techs that I’d need a new battery and it would have to be ordered because they didn’t have any in stock which would take 2-5 business days. I was okay with that information because it’d save me from driving an hour to Mayfair Apple Store and before leaving, I informed the tech that I had a small crack in the back of my phone and made sure it wouldn’t be a problem for them when repairing my phone. The tech assured me that there would be no issue with that and even went as far as saying that they go in through the front of the phone to change out the battery (I thought was weird but trusted someone who sees these problems everyday or should at least know basic information as so). 2) Friday night 11/15/24 the same tech who helped me during my appointment called and said my battery was now at the store. He said I’d be able to come in the next day and informed me that the techs who do the repairs would be in around 11am. I confirmed with him whether or not I needed to make an appointment and was told it wasn’t necessary and I could just come in the store to drop it off and have it repaired. 3) I go in the next morning 11/16/24 to drop off my phone for repair and got there around 11:25/11:30. I waited around for a good 10-15 minutes before getting serviced but was still in good spirits knowing my phone would be soon fixed. Checking in, I talked to a different guy and let him know my reasoning for being there and how I didn’t make an appointment because I confirmed with someone on the phone the day prior that it wasn’t needed since I was just dropping the phone off. The tech I talked to this time was rude and very short mannered and told me “well I’m telling you NOW, from this day forward appointments are required for any type of visit. And our techs are already working on a phone repair so it’ll be a 1-1/2 hour wait before being serviced.” I didn’t let his bad attitude ruin my day and just came back around 12:40 to drop my phone off and left a number behind for them to call when my phone was repaired. 4) 5 hours had passed and I hadn’t heard anything so I decided to go back in to the store to find out what the delay was. Keep in mind, the tech I talked to at this time was the same one who originally told me the crack in the back of my phone wouldn’t be an issue and that an appointment wasn’t needed for my repair, so misinformation everywhere. I go to ask about my phone and he brings my (still broken) phone back to me and it has a sticky note on it that says something along the lines of “Phone battery replacement could not be completed due to crack on the back of phone, back of phone replacement needed or whole unit replacement”. So I obviously got upset and brought up it up him how I had very clearly asked him for this exact reason if the crack would be a problem and he had initially told me it wasn’t a problem and even went as far as explaining how they do the repair going through the front screen of my phone. I also questioned how long it was gonna take them to tell me this information and not just let my phone sit and collect dust with nothing being done to it. He didn’t seem very bothered or concerned about the time of mine he had just wasted and took zero accountability for the misinformation given out. I took my phone and have now made an appointment at Apple Mayfair where I should’ve just went all along. I usually am not the confrontational type or one to write a review for anything bad or good but Geek Squad, do better at training employees and keep them up to date with everything so no more misinformation is put out there and no one else is put through such a frustrating inconvenience.

Excellent customer service with the Geek Squad. Both dropping off and picking up. Very happy with this Best Buy location. Gage was quite pleasant. So were others. Don't recall all of their names but kudos to all of you. Good job serving your customers.

Had an issue with my business phone freezing. Purchased from Best Buy 2 months prior so I went there first. The geek squad guy was waiting on a lady who was filling out some information so he went ahead and waited on me. I showed him my phone and told him I was in the middle of my work day and really needed it and if he could just see if he could reset it really quick. Told me I would have to make an appointment and come back. I ended up going to Verizon and they fixed it in 2 minutes. I understand there are things that are timely and require appointments but there are also times where you can stop for a moment and help out your paying customer.
