The young man took one look at my screen and I realized he had no clue how to proceed. I was having pop-ups on my screen inviting me to renew an anti-virus program that I've never used so I knew it was bogus. Geek Squad fixed it last time it happened, however I don't remember how they did it.

Absolutely the worst company, of any kind I've ever dealt with. Geek squad is a complete joke. A few weeks ago, wanted them to move my 65" tv up on the wall about 6". After a few times of positioning, finally moved it. But couldn't seem to get all the wiring in back of the tv! Had to assist them and show them how to do it! Excuse me? Aren't they the "experts"?. Just today, bought a soundbar to be hooked up. 4 hour window. Of course no show!! Had to take time off of work. Then trying to get an answer is a joke. Called and they had NO idea what happened. They called the installer, no answer. They don't call the store. Finally went to the store to get answers. But got the runaround. Everyone passing the buck saying geek squad and best buy are not connected. What?!?!. I had enough.....got a total refund and will never use that store again. Went to Aspen Sound and had a 2 hour window, on time, courteous and will ANSWER THE PHONE!

Got passed to various personnel, with each needing to type in my contact info. After 13 minutes, no one had been able to tell me if they would be able to fix the screen on the brand and model of my cellphone, and I was needing to start over again with my contact info. I thanked them for their time and trouble and said I'd call some other business since they had taken 13 minutes and not answered any of my questions. The next place was able in 5 minutes to tell me yes they had parts in stock that might fix my issue, the estimated cost, and estimated time to complete the repair. When I did get to that business and they got to see the phone, they were able to confirm the information they had given me. Too bad Best Buy.

Does not repair phones and is way too expensive. 300 dollars an hour is what the charge roughly.

Took my samsung laptop in due to a broken screen, they quoted me a max price of 350 but said if they run into any other issues they would call if it was going to cost more. After sending it in they called the next day and stated it would be 630, almost double. Nothing extra, same fix but twice as much.
