I have used Twilight 3 times. The first 2 times were great: he was quick and reasonably priced. The third time he took the laptop and disappeared for 2 weeks, then responded. He does not steal laptops, as other reviewers have mentioned: he is just a one person business, so if he gets sick or has a life problem, he will disappear. He's not the best communicator but he will get you your laptop back if you're willing to be patient. He does good work at a reasonable price. And he does have a business license. The other reviewer didn't research correctly. With all of that said he is still two stars, because his communication is terrible. And you never know when you're going to get your laptop back. I contacted the police when mine was gone, and they were not helpful so I would not go that route.

Absolutely amazing service. My school laptop crashed when working on hw at night and he was able to get me in the next day and waived the rush fee since I was in a huge bind. The technician provided me all the options to try and restore it and they were super affordable. The data recovery unfortunately would have had to be intense so I passed, but he was up front with cost and procedure if I wanted to proceed. Extremely professional, generous, and affordable. Would highly recommend!!

I believe this man has stolen my laptop. He has not reached out to me and is not answering his phone. I now have to get the police involved. He is not answering their calls either. Never in my life have I had to deal with anything like this. Do not go here. I start school next week and have to go and buy another laptop because he has stolen mine. I cannot believe that the city of Renton is allowing him to continue to do “business”. This is wrong. You need to give me my laptop back.

He had to leave town abruptly due to a family emergency while he had my laptop, but he repaired it free of charge and even offered to deliver it to me. Appreciate the integrity

Let me preface this review by saying I normally don't ever take the time to post reviews unless my experience is exceedingly amazing, or absolutely horrible. For this business, I am happy to report my experience was amazing. One day, my gaming laptop was experiencing higher Temps and inconsistent fan speeds. I shopped around in terms of price and as someone that worked as a technician fixing other peoples belongings (cars, not computers but i digress), I was hyper-vigilant about finding the right person to work on my laptop. I ended up springing for his full thermal service package which included a repaste and cleaning of intake/exhaust ports and fans. The owner Shade, is the full embodiment of a perfect master technician and someone I would fully trust with my $1200 machine. Impeccable communication skills, Passionate about his work, and an inherent perfectionist. I had an issue with not being able to play online multi-player games after I had the work done, but shade stood by his work and diagnosed the problem for me free of charge. And as a mechanically inclined person, I like to learn how things work so I can fix my own stuff. Shade took the time to educate me on some of the troubleshooting he did and generally what I could do if the problem reoccured. Not many technicians would be willing to do that regardless of what they work on. Apart from all the above, he quoted me a much more acceptable hourly labor rate then most other places in issaquah or Bellevue, but in the end my deciding factor was always dependant on the vibe from technician that would be servicing my laptop. As silly as that sounds. Also, this place has the coolest waiting room I've ever seen in any business EVER... Make sure to call or text the number first because it's by appointment only. Cheers!
