Asked for a quote to replace a few broken keycaps on my laptop. 3 weeks later, still no quote.

TL;DR If you want to waste your time and end up filing in small claims court this place is great. If you want your electronics repaired it's really really bad. Ohhhhhhhh where to begin. My mother took her switch to this shop when the charging port stopped working. She was hoping they would be able to fix it faster than Nintendo. When she told me about the interaction she mentioned the clerk didn't have a mask and didn't give her a receipt for her drop off. Giant red flags, but she wants to keep working with them. This was December 26th. She was told she'd get a call with a quote later in the day. She didn't so she calls Monday the 28th and isn't provided a time frame but is told the owner is the only one that solders and solders on Sundays only. So next Monday rolls around, she calls, they need a new part, says he might order it from eBay. I again suggest she go pick it up because I've 100% lost faith in the transaction but she assumes the best in people. As you can imagine the story ends today the 14th. She brought it home when the owner kept insisting he would send it to Nintendo to see if they would repair. This circumvents the entire reason she chose his service in the first place. Attached are images of the damaged Switch my mother brought to me in dismay. Notice the screw hole by the charging port they used to wedge the system open. The pic doesn't pickup that the screw is stripped. Notice the untouched screws on the corners. I will be seeking reimbursement for the damage from the owner of this business. Please save yourself the time and headaches of dealing with this establishment.

I have used Aych as my go-to place for my computer issues for many years. They have always helped me for a very fair price. Last week and today Tony in Tumwater helped with two different issues. Both times he was kind, helpful and resolved my issues!! I can’t thank you enough for helping me to navigate our complex computer world.

Over the last couple of years I have brought many problems to them and left very pleased with their service. In one instance I brought a laptop to them that had been worked on by three other stores, one of those stores was Geek Squad. They quickly got the problem solved without trying to sell me anything more than what I needed. Aych was recommended to me and I am grateful.
