Clean and quick installation of a sub+amp. Very friendly. (If you have a fully loaded sub and amp you want installed, you only need to pay for the amp install)

Went in cause my laptop wouldn't turn on. I didn't realize you needed an appointment, but the nice gentleman signed me up for one. A little later another gentleman came over and solved my issue. Friendly and helpful staff, I'll definitely be coming back.

We had the best experience with Jillian, a Geek Squad technician from the Lynwood branch. Several years ago, we had a home theatre system installed by Magnolia Hi-Fi. We recently had a minor issue w/ the CD Player so I contacted Best Buy, and they referred us to their support group (the Geek Squad). We arranged an appointment and I was thrilled when Jillian was able to troubleshoot our connection issue quickly and get us up and running! At no point did she make me feel lame although she was well within her rights LOL. She was very gracious and I totally appreciated her efficiency and expertise -

Short wait, a clear conversation about my needs and how they could help. I will return if I have another need to and can recommend their services.

Geek Squad had given my laptop that I had paid $600.00 to be refurbished by Microsoft to another customer. They had also given that customer my personal information. They did not ID the customer, as they would have realized they were not giving the correct product to the correct person. I was also NOT asked for my id when I had gone to pick up my laptop. The person who had received my laptop in error called me and left me a voicemail to inform me she had my laptop. I was no longer comfortable with that laptop, as I am not sure who she had treated the product while she had it in her possession. Another customer with the same last name as me had picked up my laptop and returned it. When I went to Geek Squad to pick up my laptop, they did not inform me of the error and tried to act like this did not happen. I then informed them I had the voice message saved and did not appreciate the dishonesty or the fact that my personal information was shared with another person. The drive to the Best Buy is about an hour in traffic, as I have to go after work. The only solution they could offer me was to replace the laptop with another refurbished laptop that I would need to come back and pick up at a different time. This had wasted my time (twice), money on gas, and once again, my personal information was provided to another customer. Overall, the resolution/experience did not make me happy and was a huge inconvenience.
