Was told they could do repairs on ps5 disc drives, then got hung up on, called back and the second person said they couldn’t do that unless I have a geek squad warrenty, so ultimately geek squad is useless, liars and a cash grab if I’m trying to use your service I shouldn’t have to pay for a subscription every month just to have a warrenty on an item you don’t even know if you can repair or not.

Absolutely had a horrible time just trying to get a real person from the store on the phone and when you finally do get connected it’s someone from a different country. If I can’t get a hold of the store easily why would I ever trust my stuff to be repaired by geek squad there? Save yourself time and money and go to ubreak I fix and talk to someone who actually works in the store.

We took my son’s gaming computer in due to display issues. Taylor C helped us and was able to diagnose the issue. He gave us options to get a plan moving forward. Taylor C was extremely helpful, friendly, & very knowledgeable. Our 12 year old son enjoyed listening & asking Taylor questions so we all gained some knowledge. We left with a plan and were very happy with the service we received from Taylor.

Incompetent and rude staff!! They always assume your protection plan is expired and you have to pay. When it turned out to be valid then told me have to contact the previous owner to release it to me even when I had the actual physical proof of the plan..

Incompetent staff. Made me an appointment to repair an HDMI port in an Xbox series X. Was told they could do it was was quoted around $50 bucks, so made the appointment. Got a call a couple hours before the appointment from a staff member asking if I bought the Xbox from Best Buy and since I did not they would not repair it. I’m in the process of building a PC and will not be going to Best Buy for any of my parts, you live and learn. Horrible policy.
