Experimax Winchester(GUI Electronics)

Excellent iPhone help and repair I have found. I live in Bluemont, VA and drove over to Winchester twice last week to get help from Experimax. My iPhone 7's camera was dead. They had a new iphone camera/chip in stock and fixed it inside of an hour while I waited. I didn't even need an appointment! Worked perfectly after that. I came back 4 days later and got them to move all the data from my iPhone 7 into my new iPhone 14. Again, it only took about an hour or so, and it was done perfectly. These guys are good, they are fast, and they do high quality work. Prices are perfectly reasonable, and they saved me a huge amount of time and hassles.

Friendly, quick service. Repaired my wife’s iPhone that was not charging by simply cleaning the port. They handed back the phone with a smile and no charge. This is a very good local business that deserves your support!

Paid to have my charger port cleaned. Was happy with results until i noticed my bottom microphone is now broken(The same night). Store owner claims it is completely unrelated and in no way their fault. It was working that morning but now there a crackling noise and it wont pick up sound whatsoever. Voice to text is broken. Microphone is connected to the charger port but somehow he says there is no way they could be the reason . Was told that I'm SOL and that I broke it. I never touched them. The only person to go anywhere near them was the service tech. In response to their response. I wasnt asking for you to replace the part free of charge. I was just appalled at the absolute lack of accountability. It was working the morning of and not the night after the cleaning but the owner completely denied that it could in anyway be the cleaning that caused these issues. How a business holds itself is important and it just felt like I had a finger pointed at me instead of any real solution.

Phone stopped charging... they discovered it would charge with a wireless charger but not through the USB-C port. Ordered a new port. After taking it apart, they found that the port was fine, it had just become disconnected. Only charged $30 to fix. I never write Google reviews but I felt like I had to for this. They were recommended to me by a family member whose phone they fixed recently. It is extremely rare to find ANY business nowadays that is honest or has honest employees. After discovering the port was disconnected they could've made up any story to charge me more, but they didn't. Any business that shows honesty is going to have customers continue to return. I'll definitely be going back for any future phone repairs.

I was greeted & served promptly by Shane, the owner. My iPhone had a glitch that had me stumped & frustrated to an almost frantic point. Shane took one look, diagnosed & fixed the problem on the spot there & then. I was so grateful & relieved I would have paid whatever he asked. In fact, he laughed it off & sent me on my way at no charge. Just being neighborly. There is absolutely no doubt where I'll take my future business. I strongly recommend anyone else to do the same!
