Danny at the Midlothian Westchester location did a great job saving my beloved iPhone 6 S Plus (don’t judge me! I know it’s old and outdated, but it still works great as an iPod!. I have always had amazing service at this Fruit Fix location! Thanks, Danny!

Jake was extremely knowledgeable on the cell phone repair and did an outstanding job. He was very well mannered and took the extra time to answer all of my questions and concerns, very professional, and very considerate. He went above and beyond to help me and once all said and done, I have a perfect phone! I could not have asked for a better business or a better person to work on my phone. Thank you very much Jake and Fruit Fixed !

Update: 4-star for owner 1-star for staff at location Owner agreed to request for full refund and it has been initiated. After conversation when owner called, also offered to replace and repair cracked screen personally, which had been the original request three times with staff interaction at location (in-person and phone) to address issue. We even called them less than 24 hours after picking up phone to notify them we were bringing it in for repair. But, after all this…we politely declined his offer to repair. It’s unfortunate that it had to escalate and take up so much of our time to try to get it repaired, but we finally got a refund we asked for. My partner was also told it had a 30-day warranty, but apparently doesn’t cover cracked screen (if they are known to have been dropped-which ours was not, but then it’s just a he said/she said game, I guess). So make sure you have full understanding of warranty before you pay or repair anything, or you might have a whole weekend day dedicated to getting your money back. OP: Steer clear of Fruit Fixed for any screen replacements. They overcharge and don’t stand by warranty. Now out $150 for screen for old Samsung Galaxy and the staff was rude and looking for a way not to honor warranty. We visited in person to have issue addressed and fixed after notifying via phone 18 hours after getting back phone, they claimed it was our fault and probably a phone drop. Called store two times after partner returned unsuccessful from second repair/replace, and had one employee hang up on me when I asked how much the part was worth. Then I called back and talked to another person who did not apologize for staff member hanging up on me and proceeded to say it must have been a drop and they would not cover warranty because they had to open phone to see if it was caused by a drop. Maybe they dropped it at the store? We definitely did not. Gave them three chances to rectify situation and they failed. A manager contacted us later to have us bring the phone in (again) and replacement it, but we have lost all confidence in this business. A full refund was requested, but doubtful they will honor this request. They are quick to make it seem like it’s the customer who is the issue and not their staff or product. It was literally less than 18 hours after replacement we noticed the issue and did our due diligence by notifying them. Should also be noted, we had the previous screen and phone for over 4 years with not even a scratch on screen. The touch screen part went dead which is why we replaced it. Daughter thought she noticed hairline cracks when she got it back, by morning it was incredibly obvious and that’s when she told us. Had great luck with Computer Cave in Richmond. Wish we would have taken it there. Lesson learned. Fruit Fixed is a joke.
