Amber was extremely rude. I had to make 4 trips to the Geek Squad to get my information transferred to my new computer. I'm giving them 3 stars for Kenneth who initially helped me but is no longer working for Best Buy and the weekend crew who where able to help.

Just an all around nightmare. Went in and was told 2-3 days I would get a call to come pick up my computer. A week later I called them to find out they hadn't started because they needed a number key to be able to back it up. I was told to respond to the emails I was sent, they were all automated and could not receive emails so I couldn't send them the key that way. Over the phone it is impossible to get someone actually on the line. It's about to be 2 weeks and I can't get in touch with them. I'm going in tomorrow to just get my computer back and go somewhere else and have it fixed

Horrible! Ive made FIVE appointments trying to get the same issue fixed. Each time I’ve waited well past my appointment times while they are downloading apps on senior citizens phones & upselling them on computers they’ll never know how to use.

Two month old $1500 laptop screen completely shot, Best Buy nor geek squad will return it. Touchpad doesn’t work half of the time. The geek squad representative told me it would take 8 weeks or more if I let them send it off AND added that it probably wouldn’t be fixed under warranty. I guess unless you’re a 70 year old that is having trouble using their passcode on your iPhone, they’re absolutely useless. Spoke with HP rep and he confirmed this is typical behavior by Best Buy and the HP rep advised me to not return here again. He told me purchasing through Best Buy just adds a middle man to the deal and they don’t stand behind the product whatsoever and this is how they treat all of their laptop claims. Don’t buy from Best Buy, don’t expect geek squad to do anything whatsoever other than look at you with a confused expression on their face.

My parents used Geek Squad and it has been nothing but a headache! They brought the computer in and they didn't do what they asked. Then they had to send it away and it took more than 2 weeks to get the computer to the "repair center"in Kentucky and it's still not fixed. Don't waste your money and support a local computer repair shop!
