10/10 service. They found a new phone battery for my 6.5 year old android and after it was ordered and arrived, they got it installed in an hour and a half from drop off to pickup. I was also worried about losing pics, messages, open tabs, etc. in the process but they assured me all the data would be untouched and it was. $120 for battery and service. The new battery is high quality too; it charges quickly and stays charged all day while my old phone battery dropped power constantly and shut off completely around 40%.

I took my daughter’s iPhone 14 Pro Max in to get the screen repaired. There was no physical damage to the phone, just that the screen had stopped working and needed to be replaced. The first time I went, they quoted me $340 for a third-party screen. When I returned two weeks later, the staff member was rude and quoted me around $479. I mentioned the previous quote, and after some hesitation, he went in the back and looked around for the screen for $340 price but did not find one but they had to wait until more stock came in, which was fine so he then took the phone and created the repair ticket. The next day, they told me the phone was ready for pick-up. When we turned it on at home, the screen was fixed, but the photos had a greenish tint and were unclear. I called the store immediately, and the same rude employee dismissed my concerns, saying it was because of the third-party part. I explained that, as a customer, I didn’t know how third-party parts compared to Apple parts, and he was unhelpful, telling me to call back on Tuesday when the manager was in. When I spoke with the manager, he was polite and offered to replace the screen again, hoping it would fix the issue, but didn’t guarantee it. I took the phone back, and after the second repair, the problem was still not resolved. I feel like the $340 was completely wasted. They never explained that the third-party screen could result in color issues or reduced clarity. Best Buy actually referred me to this place, but after this experience, I’ll never return. Be cautious when considering repairs at this store—prices are outrageous with no guarantee of quality work. If the screen wasn’t going to meet the same standard, it shouldn’t have cost $340. I honestly feel like I deserve a refund because this is unacceptable, and my daughter is still not using her phone because of the poor quality.
