Awful! The worst customer experience I’ve had in a long time. I brought in a laptop that needed a new hard drive. The Geek Squad agent helped me select the appropriate drive for the computer, I purchased it, then paid the additional $40 fee for them to install it. They assured me it would be ready the next day, but it actually took several days. That’s fine, but when I finally picked up the computer and brought it home it wouldn’t start up. Turns out it couldn’t locate the new hard drive. I returned to the store and the Geek Squad agents tried everything they could to make it work, but it wouldn’t cooperate. They finally agreed to take out the new hard drive and refund me that purchase, but refused to refund me the installation fee. I understand that they have a policy against refunding for work time, but why should I pay for their mistakes? They sold me the hard drive and stated it would work, and it didn’t. But that’s on me? What a gross display of incompetence!

Austin at Geek Squad went above and beyond the meaning of 'good service.' He arrived on time, conducted a friendly, personal conversation with me throughout the process, and completed the desired task in less time than expected. My printer still works perfectly, and I am beyond pleased with the services rendered by Austin and Geek Squad. I will definitely use these guys for all my future technological needs. A+ professional work all the way. I highly recommend this branch of Geek Squad to anyone who is looking for honest, professional, and knowledgeable service.

Chris from geek squad was very friendly and helpful. He replaced the old laptop battery while we waited. He gave quick and efficient service. He also was able to fix the port for the battery charger on the laptop. We haven’t had any issues with the repair. Thanks Chris

I would give them 0 stars if I could. Please take your computer to a local repair shop instead of GeekSquad. I brought my computer in for repair, and they convinced me to buy the Totaltech package in order to fix it and have the labor and diagnostic fees covered. They also agreed to call me when they finished their initial diagnosis and let me know if my hard drive needed to be replaced. Not only did they not call me as they said they would, but when I checked on the tracker provided by Best Buy, it said the machine and checked in and out within two minutes. When I went to pick up the machine, they said both hard drives in my machine were failing, and the CPU/Motherboard were potentially damaged as well. Then they told me they couldn't complete any repairs on the machine because it is technically a custom machine. If that was the case, why did you tell me you could repair it to begin with, and charge me over $200 for the Totaltech package? I took my computer to a local repair shop, and they let me know that only one hard drive was giving them trouble, and there was no damage to my computer whatsoever as far as the CPU/Motherboard is concerned. I don't believe the Geek Squad even touched my computer (how could they have done a thorough diagnosis in two minutes)? Please, do NOT take your computer here, and do NOT give these people your business.

I have no idea how Geek Squad stays in business with the prices the showed me! All I was looking to have done was a simple cleaning on my laptop. They wanted to charge me $200, just for them to open it up and physically clean the inside. No repairs or anything.
