The owner and the staff are all super nice. Michael had no problem breaking all the tech-talk down so that I could understand. Becky is amazing and sweet. I will definitely use this facility for any of my tech issues with laptops or computers. The biggest part of my time there is that they do not talk down to anyone or treat them any sort of way. They are direct, up front, and to the point. All values that I respect. We will definitely definitely be life customers. Thank you MRO Computers for your experience and expertise.

My daughter had came home for her fall break from college. She had broken a hinge on her HP laptop. With only a few days before she had to return I was in the search for a reputable computer repair shop. After visiting three places that were unable to help I found MRO computers in Chesapeake. Mike greeted me at the door, I explained the problem as well as the time constraint I had and he said “I’ve got you, no problem” we shared a few stories as we are both retired military and it showed not only what a great business he runs but also what a great person he was. The repair was very very reasonably priced and was done well before my daughter had to go back to school. If you need computer help and want to support a stand up local business go ahead and give these guys a shot, you’ll be very impressed and happy with their product!!

5 Stars, I will be recommending to all of my friends. Mike takes care of his customers, he doesn't go out of his way to up charge you, and is very military friendly. After my last move, my pc failed to connect to any monitor, I went to Best Buy and had no luck or idea what the problem was. Mike and his staff went through the troubleshooting process, kept me up to date along the way. In a few short hours they had determined the cause and I needed a new graphics card. But instead of ordering through him, which he would have to up charge, he recommended I explore other options, ie Amazon. Once the card came in and a few hours in the shop, PC was as good (if not better) than new. Once the system booted he found other issues that I would not have found on my own including a BIOS update that made my processor run cooler and more reliable. I could not be happier with this experience and would strongly recommend.

I had brought my gaming PC there back in January since it would sometimes turn off out of nowhere. It was very difficult to duplicate the issue since it sometimes occurred once every 3-7 days when using it the full day. David was the main guy working on it. Michael, Michael’s son, and Becky also helped figuring out the issue. They all showed great teamwork in troubleshooting a problem as they bounced ideas. They did have it for about a month since it was difficult to duplicate my issue. It would turn off at the desktop or even while playing a heavy loaded game. There was no up charge in them keeping it longer since it’s a trial and error process. All my temps and numbers were within range, which made it harder to troubleshoot. After they did some adjustments, they would keep it for a few more days to see if it would turn off on them or not while continuously monitoring everything on it. I’ve had my pc now for five months strong, and it has not turn off at all randomly!! Michael, David, and Becky have been amazing with their customer service and keeping me updated. Been wanting to swing by to thank them personally still. You have no idea how much I appreciate all your hard work and persistence on my custom built, compact gaming pc while my husband was deployed (he built it). I wasn’t tech savvy enough to figure it out, so thank you for helping me. 10/10 would recommend and come here again! They are super knowledgeable, and they would always thoroughly explain and answer all my questions. By the way, they do military and first responder / nursing discounts 😉.

Came in to sell some old PC parts I had but found out they don’t buy used parts due to warranty risk which is understandable. They do however sell pre-built systems and repairs. Even though I couldn’t sell my used parts, Michael helped me find a CPU fan that would fit my system which was really kind and helpful. I appreciate the warm hospitality and I would definitely come back here if I needed help with my computer or wanted a more powerful computer. They even offer a military discount!
