Business Overview
Apple Clarendon is a computer repair business. Customers can experience good and bad customer service, as well as a range of service capabilities. The reviews sometimes praise the store's helpful staff, and other times mention the store failing to help customers, the business pushes for new phones rather than fixing the old ones, and the business doesn't ship on time.

I brought my MacBook Air to this Apple Store for repair, but even after 24 hours, they still hadn’t shipped it to the repair center. When I called Apple Support, the store representative told me that UPS had already left yesterday and they didn’t know what time it would arrive today. Instead of assuring me that they would expedite the process, she simply told me I had the option to cancel the repair. This experience was frustrating for two reasons. First, the unnecessary delay in shipping my laptop. Second, even after I explained that I had traveled two hours to get here and that my job depends entirely on this laptop, they still suggested canceling the repair rather than prioritizing the shipment. Why should I have to cancel? Why not work to speed up the process and ensure it’s handled as soon as possible? Customers need understanding and empathy. After traveling a long distance and waiting 24 hours, being told to cancel instead of being assured of a swift resolution is unacceptable. As of now, my laptop still hasn’t been shipped.

I recently had an outstanding experience at Apple, thanks to Brendan From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly helpful and efficient. He took the time to understand my needs and ensured I was taken care of immediately. His professionalism and friendly demeanor made the process smooth and enjoyable. I left the store feeling valued and satisfied with my service. I highly recommend visiting this location and seeing Brenden for all your Apple needs! Thank you for your exceptional support!

The sales team seemed fine, but service honestly feels like a scam. I brought in my perfectly good iPhone 12 Pro for a new battery refresh and had to spend 20 minutes while the tech searched for other problems with my phone (something minor that would require a new back plate etc). All the time suggesting that the phone has good trade-in value and I should get a new one. I said I was good and just wanted a battery replacement. They took the phone and asked me to wait an hour. When I returned, they of course hadn’t replaced the battery, something about a tiny scratch on the glass at the very bottom of the phone, which hadn’t come up an hour and a half before. Replacement of the glass would take more time, at least $400, and the phone has good trade-in value why don’t I get a new one? Now I’m even more determined to keep my phone as long as possible, and the MagSafe external batteries are great. Please let service be service and not up-sellers in disguise.

I have been an Apple customer for decades. My phone is still under warranty. The maps apps - ALL the maps apps - don’t work. Apple Maps, google maps, Waze. They don’t know where I am in space. They send me in circles. Worst of all, the voice component suddenly cuts off or only says the second half of a sentence, so I’ll be driving - or walking - and suddenly the phone is still showing directions visually, but is silent, and no sound button and no setting adjustment can get it to talk. As you can imagine, this has caused me to be in one dangerous and stressful situation after another. I am on my second replacement phone of the same model (which is clearly defective.) I have been to Apple Clarendon again and again for many months, and they always say they’ve fixed it, but they never have. Today I went in after yet another pointless “repair” yesterday during which I was assured that the software bugs were fixed (nope.) I asked who I can speak to about Apple giving me a different model of phone. The person I spoke to said the only things he could suggest were to speak with (yet another) technician or to sell me a new phone (my phone is only two years old.) I asked to speak to someone who could come up with other options. Nope. No such person! Apple used to be a fantastic brand with great products and great customer service. Not anymore. The other awful thing about this store is that it’s ear-splittingly loud and you have a choice of sitting waiting on backless wooden stools or wooden blocks, miserable for anyone over the age of 12. I am also due for a new computer and I had been planning to get one today but now I’m afraid I’ll waste $1500 on another defective product that no one can fix if something goes wrong.

Jean Luc helped me get checked in and made me an appointment within 20 minutes, as I didn't have a working phone to do it myself. Alex was extremely helpful and even though this store couldn't do the repair, directed me to another store nearby where I could get same day service. Alex was extremely personable, friendly, and gave me honest advice about my phone and options I could take to fix it. I'd go back if I had any more issues with my iPhone.
