This is the second time I’ve attempted to get repair work done on a device at this repair store. The first time no one even answered the Ring camera and I had communicated with staff through their business chat on messenger about being in the area and that my son and I would head over. No response at all. Come to find out one of the co-owners was having a medical emergency. There are 2 owners though who were both there and one them could have at least said sorry bad time having an emergency here. I booked an appointment ahead of time drove all the way out there with my son. Called to let them know I was running a bit late but was still on the way. It was a weird conversation where they were basically like no one calls to let us know they’re running late (people do it all the time and it’s just common courtesy). So they knew we were about 5 min away. We go in and they don’t answer right away on the Ring doorbell and the female co-owner (they’re husband and wife) is just really abrupt and unfriendly and is asking me what I brought with me and I had been thinking we would be let in not communicating through a camera.I had already spoken with them on messenger about the issue and discussed rates. My son really wanted his tablet fixed because there was something on there that he had hoped was still on there after the tablet entered boot loop doom and I had attempted to do something to its battery. I thought they would let us in, take a look, work on it then I pay. Normal stuff. No they refuse to let us in because they are concerned my son is too loud and will disturb their epileptic cat. A-what-now? I was not apprised of any cats… luckily I love cats and my son loves cats. We have 2 cats, but what pray-tell would they do if say a customer is deathly allergic to cats? If there is a concern about the peace and well being of their cat perhaps they should be in an area away from customers. Maybe they should let customers know ahead of time there is a cat-quiet issue so customers can decide For themselves if they want to take an hour long round trip to potentially not get work done due to being too loud for the cat. All I wanted to do was drop this off and leave. I even would’ve been willing to ship this with tracking to them and pay to have them ship it back and pay for the repair but it’s like these ideas don’t even get considered. I’m inconvenienced again and still have a broken device. There was really poor customer service there as well. They could’ve spoken a lot kinder to us but they didn’t care. It’s easy not to when you’re the only game in town.

Avoid, trust the bad reviews. Yes they do the repair and there not crazy expensive. There are just honestly subpar humans both in the business sense and general decency. Took forever to get my laptop back, lied to about when it was going to be done multiple times. Kept stating “It’s my business I can do whatever I want” which is true just not good business. Always denied conversations we had and tried to gaslight myself and other customers. They did get the job done but just not great people.

If you want a repair that cost $400 and last for 2 weeks this is your place. It's also the place to come if you do not want them to talk to you or explaiin things to you and then then lie about it. Oh and its a great place to come if you want to be told to bring your phone back in for them to look at it but then be told that you probably caused more damage which would result in additional charges. Do your research, ask others who have used this business, read the reviews. I wish I had. Seems like it's a trend to have phone screens only last a couple weeks. I am 100% expecting a snarky reply... after all the owner did say that I was "ungrateful and inconsiderate and an entitled customer" I guess its not ok to expect a repair to cost $400 and last more than 2 weeks. Lost my trust when he lied and set me up to have to pay even more. Fool me once.

I felt that the two running the place were unorganized, unprofessional, unrealistic with their estimated pick up time, ridiculously overdoing their security precautions (including needing an appointment just to drop off and pick up the device) and they have zero communication skills. I have a feeling they run their business this way because they believe we here Rutland have no other options available and they’re taking advantage of that with their high prices too. I’ll drive as long as it takes just so I don’t have to go there again.

Worse place I have ever been to. Was recommended and will never go back. Then did a full rebuild on my phone and said it would be done by Monday and didn’t receive it till Friday and also not even having it back for 2 weeks the screen was acting up and they wouldn’t do anything about it. They said there was a “crack” in it and there is not a crack in it. I took it somewhere else and they even said there was no crack.
