My computer was hacked, and a computer expert friend worked on it and then said he might not have gotten everything, so of course I went to Computer Barn. Alex was free when I got there and checked the computer. I fully expected to leave the computer there for a few days and pay over $100. But Alex looked it over and removed three remote access apps that would have let the creeps back in, and I didn't even have to leave it! AND he didn't even charge me! Not only was he efficient and effective, but he was also a completely charming young man. It would have been so easy to rip me off, but Alex was FABULOUS! Computer Barn is THE place to bring your devices for terrific service.

Tech Alex was superb in handling my numerous issues/questions about my iPad, and desk top. He was patient, courteous, humorous, and explained things like a teacher. Immensely helpful.

I’ve been using them for years and appreciate their frank communication & knowledge - they work hard and are passionate about the spectrum of computers/tech. I’ve always felt the price to be fair & sometimes surprisingly inexpensive to what I expected. Glad to support a local business and love the new location!

Charged my friend $160 to update her MacBook. They take advantage of people who don't know about computers. Also, in 2016 or 2017 they sold me a jet black iPhone 7 that was stolen. They didn't offer a refund until we got the police involved. I had one good experience, when I was buying sata cables. If you don't know what that is, be aware they'll probably take advantage of you. Edit: I notice that I have already brought up the stolen phone situation in a previous review, under a different account. In response to the owner's reply: 1. Obviously I didn't use my real name. Of course you wouldn't find any records of me. As a tech support business, surely you should know that's pretty basic internet safety. 2. I do not have the wrong business. You and your employees are hilariously condescending, so your assumption probably comes from that attitude, where you think you're above everyone else. No, it was in your old location, before you moved more recently. This location was near the staples and price chopper building. And no, I didn't mistake you guys for staples, don't even try. 3. Wherever you got the phone from, it was stolen, and clearly had previous damage. The screen was replaced (poorly) and had some significant lift out of the frame.
