I called Geek Squad to fix my computer at home. I made an appointment and the tech showed up right on time. Someone showed up saying he was there to fix our computer. He said he would have to take it back to the shop, and walked out the door with the computer. There is no paperwork on this and manager in the store said they do not have any worker by the name of Cory, which is the name of the technician who came to our house. In short, the “Geek Squad Technician” walked out the door with my compute. He basically stole my computer as we stood there totally trusting that it would come back fixed. Do not go to Geek Squad unless you want to take a chance on losing your computer. Geek squad has no idea who this man is. Or so they say.

I had to go in to find out what was wrong with my phone. My WiFi and data was not being recognized and so I couldn’t use my apps. They went and took a look and said that the hardware was not working and so I would have to pay $450 for a whole new product. I told them no and went and checked elsewhere and it was literally a one button fixed. Thank god I didn’t take their scam

Every time I have a problem with my computer, they take very good care to diagnose the problems and make the corrections necessary in very quick order. They replace parts with my permission and their prices have been very fair. I have purchased Geek Squad Support and it has been well worth the money and it covers all my computers whether purchased there or not.

Like other reviewers I can’t get an actual person on the phone. The computer voice says “just a min. while I transfer” the phone rings and then the line eventually goes dead. This happend at the Sandy, Utah store and Best Buy in St. George also. Very poor service. Today I’m just waiting for a Geek Squad installer to come to my house and it’s currently way past the time I was told he or she would be here.

I attempted three times to get in contact with someone on the Geek Squad to make an in home appointment to repair my computer, and each time I waited for the call to be answered, it simply stopped ringing and I had to call back with the same results. I have an account with BB for repairs and it apparently is not worth much. I am 82, and not able to bring the computer in to BB, so what do I do? The Geek Squad agent always came to our home. Frustrated.
