HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Secure Data Recovery is the best in the business. I am a photographer, and was in a crisis when I lost thousands of photos that I needed desperately. I was able to get in touch with them immediately, they started working on fixing my hard drive within a couple of days, and ended up saving thousands of very important photos, that I could not get back in any other way that I tried. They are so incredible to communicate with as well! I am so pleased with my experience with them!

One of the best I chose Secure Data Recovery from a shortlist of 3 companies derived by doing some research and reading plenty of reviews. I used each company's website to make initial contact explaining my situation and requesting pricing. At this point the pricing is unknown but a broad range is provided. Two of the three responded the same day via phone and the third responded the next day via email. The rep who contacted me was easy to talk to, gave me confidence that they would be able to recover data and was very knowledgeable about the process, not just a voice on the phone or a sales person. That, combined with the highly certified cleanroom, very high success rate and many other accolades and certification made them stand out as a clear winner. Still skeptical in sending a broken disk with sensitive data via courier was not sitting well with me so I had further conversations with my rep asking how things worked and how safe it was. He assured me they only ship over night to reduce risk. From that point there was some commitment to be made and some paperwork to sign. I requested the ability to submit my own NDA which was not a problem at all. My rep provided me with a customer portal which I must was is very intuitive, very useful and very informative. The customer portal is the place for the customer to get updates on their recovery, contact a rep and some other tools and informative information. Very well done and impressive. Once the decision was made, the paperwork was complete I packed up my drive like a fine piece of priceless china and shipped it off with the provided prepaid label. Once they received the drive, they got right to work at providing an assessment and a quote for repair. The disk had suffered motor bearing seizure and head crash. Again another decision to be made, is the data worth the money requested or do I pay the $38 to return the drive without being recovered? This is going to be a personal decision for every customer. After a few days of consideration I chose to move forward. This produced a couple more documents and agreements to sign, all the while assuring me that my NDA was in full force throughout the recovery process. One thing to note here is this is all happening right around the holiday season, so we're contacting each other in-between time off, etc. About 30 calendar days into the recover I got an email very clearly explaining the results and a list of files for review. There were 16 files they claimed as damaged but thankfully they were either files that I had recovered from a local backup or files that just didn't matter, like temp files and such. I looked over the list quickly and expressed my satisfaction with the 99.99% success at recovering my drive. I was then sent a link to pay the invoice for the previously discussed cost. I paid the invoice and within a day my recovered data was on its way back to me, on media that I specified along with the original drive. The media was secured with some manufacturer provided security tools that required a PIN code to unlock. Once unlocked, there it was, some very important, sentimental and valuable data that I had not seen in nearly 2 months. In closing Secure Data Recovery are very transparent, very easy to work with and incredibly patient with me touching base with them about every 3 - 5 days throughout the process. Data recovery is not cheap but you get what you pay for according to reviews so again, I knew early on that this was a company I could trust and one that I wanted to work with.

I am an online teacher, so I create all my resources, classes, and videos for online students digitally. I thought I was being careful at backing up my most important digital assets to an external hard drive. However, I didn't realize how many of those assets (videos, images, spreadsheets, documents, etc.) I only had stored on that external hard drive. . . until it fell and did not work any longer. The service with Secure Data Recovery has been a ray of hope to me, bringing back so many of my files that I thought I had lost forever. The tech team is very professional and clear on the process and what they can or cannot do. It has been a great experience working with them.

Hello, For some reason, my data backup hadn't worked, so when my Apple was crushed, almost into pieces, I believed that I could just retrieve my data from the cloud. But it hadn't registered, and my only source of data was found on my totally smashed iPhone. It was a terrible realization to make! I contacted Secure Data Recovery Service. Jonathan became my contact throughout their work and guided me through the process of recovering the files. I am happy that he and the company could help me out, because I had lots of pictures of precious grandchildren and some professional information that I needed to have saved. Thank you, Secure Data Recovery Service, for saving and recover the data! Michael H.

Beware; these guys are experts in shady dealings. From the beginning they lure you in and make it look like it's a local business. What you're seeing on the maps is a dropoff location; a business that has nothing to do with them except they've contracted them to take and mail hard drives and other storage media. Their labs are far away in the midwest (at least mine was sent there). Once they have your hard drive at an undisclosed and far away location, they will hold it ransom until you agree to pay $37.95 to send it back to you. By the way, the amount they quoted me to recover the data was more than $2500. If I had to guess, this company seems 90% lawyers and 10% salespeople. They've got things locked down with legal document after legal document after legal document. I disputed the charge with my Visa card and they said they couldn't take the money back from secure data recovery but the bank issued me a credit anyway, thankfully. I don't know how long this review will last; I fully expect that they monitor reviews on the daily and send their lawyers to google to get these taken down; there's no way they have that star rating from real experiences. I've never felt so chewed up and spit out by a company before; it felt like a machine and they were very comfortable with every step. I'm sure they've done this hundreds or thousands of times.
