Update: it is 7:45. She started on my husbands at 7:45 and claimed her computer went down and made a phone call to another customer saying she was working on their order for over an hour and she still cant get the format to work. She handed me mine at about 7:35 and alot of them are not cut properly at all. She made sure to give my husband about 2000 of his because they were messed up but mine she did not quality control what so ever. I left that stack on the counter and left. Waste of time and money. First impressions (business cards) to people could make or break a business. Poor quality doesn't look good on a new business. I would like to preface this by saying I worked for staples for a few years in Colorado, mainly in the copy and print center and also some on the floor and as a cashier. We are also here for a very short amount of time and rented a car for 1 day to get all of our errands done. I have never received such service at staples and I am honestly appalled. My husband and I both had same day copy orders placed at 1pm 09/20. I know that even on a busy day, it does not take 6 hours print and cut 2 small orders of business cards. Especially in a small town like Park City, UT. We came up to the store in Park City, UT from Riverton, UT and arrived at 5:45pm for an order that was placed at 1 pm. We both wandered around for about 5 min just to kill some extra time and made our way to the counter. She told me my order wasn't there as she was very brief and to the point. She couldn't even find my husband's. When I politely asked her at least how much longer she just said very rudely, it will be ready at 730. Yes, I understand that but I also asked very politely again is there any way I could get it sooner.- I do know there is a way and I do know there is a rush fee. I also know that there are MICH better ways about having that conversation. I was 10000% willing to pay that but she never gave me an option to pay a rush fee just said 730 and stopped talking to me all together. My husband then tried again to give her his confirmation number and she resorted to having to reach out to her manager to assist her. She never told us that she found it or even acknowledged us any further. Answered the phone and continued to ignore us. At this point we just stood there and stared at her until she curtly stated "oh we have his order" and then went back to ignoring us. Now we have to lay additional to extend our car rental to have it back at the salt lake Airport on time and we have to waste time waiting for an order to be completed. There was no customer service there and a complete lack of the staples core values. Retail is hard enough as it is but when someone has worked retail at YOUR company... just appalled.

So, I bought an Epson 8500 printer a little while ago, and I needed ink... Online it said that they had the ink I needed, but upon walking in, I realized that they were mistaken. I wasn't able to get the ink I wanted, but I was able to find a few other office products that I'm going to need in the next few days. I would talk about customer service, but I didn't really talk to anybody until I went to check out. They have quite a few options, of things to select, but I'm a bit irritated that they don't have the ink I was hoping for

Love the people that work at the Park City Staples printing dept. They are so amazing! They helped me print off my new book a million times (I like to edit with pen and paper). They were great!

Bought an item at staples for making educational videos. Didn’t end up needing the item, brought it back a few weeks later and they said “it’s out of the 14 day return window, so we can only do store credit” okay weird.. but sure I guess I understand whatever. Then the item which cost me $42.99 was refunded in store credit for $20.60 because it was “the lowest price of the year” and it was “out of their hands because the entire system is automated”. Not helpful, not kind, and I hope this place dies soon. I guess I’ll just wait 2 days for Amazon next time.

Just found out that Staples no longer gives credits for returning used print cartridges, unless you first complete an online form, that they make really hard to find. Seriously!? No notice at all. They never told us that after we have been returning them for credit for years...they just changed it. They were happy to take our returned cartridges in November and never said a word. Only found out in mid-December that the rules had changed. Called CS and got somebody in foreign country who barely spoke English and all they could say was..."Sorry. Thanks for the cartridges but no credit." It may only be $10 but do you think I will ever buy print cartridges from them again? Nope. Think I will buy supplies from them again? Nope. Amazing how easily a company can blow their relationship with a customer through cost cutting and indifference. See ya, Staples. bye bye.
