Took my laptop in because the fan was being noisier than usual, the first guy I talked with didn’t even diagnose it and just said we would have to send it in and wasn’t helpful at all, he never even opened the laptop it was a waste of time and an appointment. Next day after getting ready to send it the next day the guy was a young man who was more helpful and ran a diagnostic thing before sending it in. He said I had to pay 80$ to send it and before they replace anything or do anything they would confirm that we wanted to do it and if I wanted a back up saved. And all this was before the warranty expired for the laptop, the warranty people said because we paid to ship it it’s not in warranty and tried to charge me 1500 for a motherboard…more than I paid originally… we fought that and they said it was under warranty and that they would get back to us and never did until we called geek squad three times with never any follow up from them. Turns out they did all the work and never asked about the back up, I lost everything that was on my computer!! Every step of service with the geek squad was a subpar Let down, and i hope I don’t have to use their services again. It took a month.

Took my laptop in to the Selma store today and was taken care of by James. He was friendly, and capable, and had my machine up and running in just a few minutes. I really appreciate him.

I called the listed number and spoke to a gentleman asking about getting my Roku Hisense TV repaired. He asked if I bought it at Best Buy. I said "No". He asked if it was under warranty, I said "no". He said "You need to bring it in and we will look at it." I drove 35 minutes and went inside. The technician inside said "We only work on things bought at Best Buy. I don't know where any TV repair shops are. You can talk to the manager, he might know. The line to the manager was very long. Great job Best buy. Well over an hour wasted. I will think twice before buying here.

So, don’t bother coming here. With the lack of professionalism of their staff I’m not entirely sure how they stay in business. I live 45 minutes away, this is the closest Best Buy to my house. Because of traffic I was 5 minutes late for an appointment to drop off my headphones for repair. It wasn’t even for an in-house repair, all they’re going to do it send them off to Apple anyway, yet they force a reschedule. 100% do not recommend, their customer service skills are entirely nonexistent.

We tore apart 3 systems and moved 8 heavy speakers because they were supposed to deliver and wall hang a 77 inch OLED tv. No one showed up. Nobody called. And our house is filled with boxes and out of place speakers. Is this what I can expect from the five year warranty I bought. Maybe I should just go to Amazon. Same price. Cheaper installation and chaper warranty!
