My NEW computer was a mess, it was missing drives, it was missing hardware, it ran slow, constantly crashing, and randomly freezing. The owner took care of my computer personally and handled it flawlessly. I dropped it off Tue and had it back by Thursday running better than new! I 2,000% recommend this business. I called Atek and talked to Walter and explained I had a few different computers I needed to have fixed. I had read good reviews and he seemed great on the phone so I took a laptop to the Atek office on Hardy Oak. They fixed it and I left another computer tower with them to fix. After awhile of not hearing anything, I called and Kade told me that he had tried to contact me but the call had been blocked. I explained I don't take calls from numbers I don't know and, if there is no message, I delete and block the numbers. Too many telemarketers. He said he would have to get the computer back to the office for me to pick up. I got busy, we had some missed communications, and some time elapsed - my last contact with them was in April. I have been calling and Kade no longer works there and the people that work there now don't know what happened to my computer. I have called several times and been told they would check with Walter and call back but that never happened. One person I talked to said they get rid of computers that are there too long but it seems before they get rid of it, maybe they could have contacted me from a different number than the one that was blocked or emailed me. Very disappointing and it appears I am out one computer.

STAY AWAY!! took my external hard drive for data recovery. I had to go twice because the receptionist wasn’t there, Yes you leave your drive with a receptionist. Then Kade called me saying that he did not have the cable for the drive which is a very common cord for external hard drives. Then he called me saying he needs to purchase an adapter which costs $30 I told him to go ahead and buy it. After two weeks he told me the drive is unformatted and he wiped out it to be useable again. He didn’t ask if I want my drive to be formatted. He assumed and did it anyway. After he did that he has the audacity of asking $100 for the diagnosis. I lost 20+ years of memories that I will never get back. Don’t take chances and take it to a professional data recovery services.

I had to send my computer to the company for repairs, but I needed the information extracted without opening it to obtain the hard drive since it would void the warranty. They were able to extract all the info without opening it and voiding the warranty, and it was done in less than an hour. Thank you.
