I’m super grateful for this place and Montrell was fantastic. I was in full blown panic mode when my iPhone gave me the green screen of death on 12/23. Thanks to Apple’s faulty two factor authentication (which was still linked to my old phone number for whatever reason) and their insane new 28 character Account Recovery Key I was completely locked out of my iCloud account. Buying a new phone was just as useless as the 5hrs+ I spent on the phone with Apple. I would’ve loved to know that under no circumstances could Apple override that key before that moment but whatever. My only hope was that my green screen phone could be repaired…on CHRISTMAS EVE, so I could travel to see my family. I also rely on my phone for accessing several different systems for work through Authenticator apps, including my work email. With no way to contact anyone at my (strictly remote) work there was no way I could wait an entire week for Apple to do the repair. TLDR- I was completely screwed. My bad for not having a Mac I guess lol. I’m so glad I gave this place a shot. There was no wait and Montrell did a great job! He even had it fixed and ready to go sooner than the two hours that I was originally quoted! From my understanding I really just needed a new display and it cost something like $200- $250. I don’t even care if it was a good deal or not, getting back access to all of my accounts and 15+ years of pictures and videos in less than two hours was seriously everything. And kept me from freaking stroking out. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and turn off your iPhones Account Recovery Key. It’s basically Apple’s new way of making sure their hands are tied if you ever lose access to your account. Not even having an Account Recovery Contact setup can get you back in.

Came in needing a screen replacement for my 2020 MacBook Pro. Took 2 hours to run a diagnostic test that I already did on my own. Had to pay $35 just to waste my time with a second test. Quoted me $700 and some change for the screen to be replaced. Insane overcharge for a simple replacement. When I said the price was too much he simply replied “it’s an old model”. You can get the same screen part for $199 on Amazon. Better to head over to MAC4REPAIR 15 minutes away. I called Juan up and he gave me a FREE instant quote over the phone for $400 and 20 minute repair time with no prior knowledge of Kangaroo’s pricing. That’s a price I was expecting from Kangaroo Mobile, but unfortunately they care more about taking your money than fairly charging you. Don’t let them scam you into paying more. As a business owner myself, please use this one star rating as a improvement opportunity, insight on marketplace competition and realization that gross $300 upsells are not a smart idea when your competitors within 10 mins to you are offering fair prices for the same fix alongside superior customer service.

If youre taking an apple product (or any really) avoid coming here. I made the mistake of coming here and trusting them with my airpods. The returned my airpods without the rubber buds in and said I was made aware they dont return them. Their hours are inconsistent, i went to pick up my products during their hour of operations and no one was there. I made several attempts to contact someone and they never opened. Dont waste your time here.

Had a 9:40a appointment. Mark had my phone ready to go in under an hour! Hopefully I don’t damage my screen again but if I do this location will be my go to! Customer service was top tier!

Customer service there may be knowledgeable about Apple phone hardware, but do not seem to be knowledgeable about other potential issues. What turned out to be a SIM card replacement needed was going to cost me $35 to run diagnostics and no mention it could be a SIM card issue. They were ready for me to order a new phone from them! I recommend those with an AppleCare warranty to seek Apple customer service directly through the app, and if any connection issues, go to your carrier first. Edited on 12/2024: I should mention that after I tried my carrier’s SIM card replacement a couple of times (once didn’t work after ~3 weeks), I decided that Mobile Kangaroo’s initial assessment of a slight bend in the phone, which was purchased as an Amazon refurbished variety, could be correct. I returned there, they were able to run a quick diagnostic on the phone, and get a replacement ordered for me cheaper and faster than Best Buy. While I would still recommend trying a carrier solution first, I’m changing this to a 5-star review due to Mobile Kangaroo’s quick and gracious help after I returned to them.
