Carl at Cell Phone Repair is a LIFESAVER!!! He doesn't just repair cell phones. He ALSO repairs computers. I bought a "brand new" Dell at Office Depot in Pearland. I say "brand new" because as it turned out the unit not new. It had been registered with Microsoft under someone else's name. No wonder it was cheaper. Nowhere on anything did it say anything about not being new. Smooth sailing for about 1 1/2 months. Then it lost it's mind. Office said send it back to Dell. In Viet Nam? I think that is where they are now with their mfg. I took the machine to Carl at CPR on Dixie Farm Rd. He wiped the hard drive and reinstalled Windows 11. Hooray. This took a couple of days and cost me about $40.00. What a deal!!!!!! 😊

We dropped off our phone on a Monday for a cracked screen. We were told the parts would be in the next day. We got a call the next day, no parts. The following day, still no parts, but we were told Thursday it would be done. We stopped by Thursday, but still no parts. We were told we could drive to the Pasadena location, as they had the part in stock. They offered us a $10 discount. After 4 days of doing nothing, we were expected to drive to another location and start the process over again. No thanks. There are several ways that they could have handled this, doing nothing for 4 days and asking me to go to another location is not the best solution. Although other reviews indicate my negative experience seems to be the exception, it's enough for me to take my business elsewhere in the future.
