Got scammed big time Was talked into buying the total protection for roughly $200 after tax, was told I wouldn’t have to worry about anything (parts not included of course, that was made clear and that’s perfectly fine) Waited 4 days to find out the issue, got a call from Carl saying PC was ready for pick up and I had the option to buy the part in store Came to the store to pick up the PC, bought the part - was told I’d have to re-check my PC for ANOTHER service request and wait however many days before it’s installed, something that takes seconds. Result: paid almost $200 plus the cost of parts only to have to do MY OWN INSTALLATION with YouTube Gonna go ahead and call corporate to get a partial refund and see if I just can be billed for inspection and not the total protection since I’m never coming back again

The guys there are very knowledgeable and nice. You can make an appointment online so that you don’t have to wait in line. Since COVID they clean the chairs and desk in between EVERY customer. And they wear gloves when touching your electronic devices. Definitely recommend!

Geek Squad is fantastic! They certainly take the hassle out of consumer electronics repairs. They deliver superior customer service and a fast, easy repair process. Best Buy knows exactly how to stand behind their products....just an excellent experience from the purchase to the service "after the sale." Thank you very much, Best Buy!

The call center should let the potential customers know that if you didn't purchase you items that need repair at Best Buy , then they can't repair them

I wanted to drop off a computer and let them look at it at their leisure but they insisted I have an appointment. I was more than willing to let my computer sit there for a week, I just didn't want to wait in line. No one would have been put out if they had just taken my name and number to call me back later when they had time to look at the machine.
