Picked up my god son’s broken PlayStation from his house and took it here to get fixed as a gift. was called a liar and threatened by owner after saying I was told that my device would be looked at within the week after they had already had since October. He stated he didn’t tell me a time frame and he recorded all his business call and has proved several people wrong in past whom were also mistaken. When I begged him to go back to the specific days and times I called to plz prove me wrong , he just ignored me and wouldn’t respond. It would take me writing a novel to discuss all the ways and reasons why I would avoid using this very dishonest and unprofessional company. I encourage anyone with similar issues to go to the better business bureau and report him. That would do so much more good than just leaving a negative google review. Plz use any other electronic repair shop aside from this one. Edited to add after business response- I was made aware of the infestation issues (when I called them), relayed I understood and that though I was getting this ps5 fixed for my god son as a gift and couldn’t help what environment the console came from that I appreciated him fixing it even though it took a month for it to even get to this point. The business said they were sorry they haven’t even begun to look if PlayStation was repairable but would let Me know in a week. Fast fwd two weeks of not hearing from them. I called to ask for an update and was met with hostility over me checking in again. (I guess calling once every 2 weeks was too much) I was called a liar and told he would have never told me it would be looked at within a week. After me asking if he was the previous person that I spoke with about the work and told him the previous person had a car wreck and that’s whom I spoke with. He then proceeded to yell and tell me he would not discuss personal private matters with me. I responded with sir I was just relaying that’s how I knew whom I had spoken with because I didn’t remember if it was him. He called me a liar again and told me his job was more difficult than brain surgery and I could go look up that information. He then proceeded to tell me I would not be receiving an estimate date of the PlayStation being looked at that it could be another 6 months before he got to it. He then told me I could go and try to find someone else to fix it like he could and that he was hanging up on me because he had now spoken to me more than he had spoke to his girlfriend ….with all that being said there is still even more rude and arrogant things I was told by him. Luckily I pressed record on my phone after part ways into conversation with this man. Plz unless u have an easy quick fix job go somewhere else.

Brought them a GameBoy Color which had some buttons not working. They worked on it for over a month, in the process causing it to no longer turn on. After arguing with them, they said they may be able to do a partial refund, yet did not offer the potential until pressed, but denied me a full refund after damaging my item. Upon further discussion at the store I was told it was "how the real world works" and the insightful advice of paying someone else to fix it.

This was originally going to be 4 stars. My PC quit back in early August, wouldn't power on. On recommendation I came here. I was told there would be an 80$ Diagnostic fee, and a 2 week table to diagnose. It was a week and a half before I got any communication that it wasn't the power bank, it had been a fried Motherboard. Which, was fine, I told them go ahead and order it, knowing it was an older PC, now at the time 6 years old. I was told it'd possibly be 2 weeks, and given events, I gave it maybe more before I became concerned. It had been a month total, where I had 1 conversation with them, so I called. The part was still MIA, unknown time. Another month went by, no update, no reaching out to tell me if the part was or wasn't there, and when I would call, it'd be the same. A week and a couple days before it was to be the 3rd month of no PC, I call. The part, the motherboard, was delivered a Week. Ago. And they had been going through backlog to see what still needed fixed. Had I not called, I doubt my pc would've been remembered. So I tell them that if they could have it in by Saturday, I'd be by to pick it up. And it was, except, now there was another issue, and we'd discuss it in store. The fans had something wrong, I got told multiple things, and they ordered the Fan hub part that was needed. So now it was pushed back to Tuesday, which was pushed back to Wednesday. They then told me, when I called back; a trend I had noticed, I would have to reach back out, even if I asked to be notified of when things were done; that the new motherboard didn't have a Wifi Adapter in it. I went ahead and got that part replaced too. Now out both 267$ and a PC for nearly 4 Months, I'm a bit out of Patience. But, I tried to remain as professional as I could. I was told that, unless I spent more and got the proprietary part that made the LED's in my fans turn on, that they wouldn't light. As much as I loved the things, being a large enough chunk of why I had bought the thing, I was willing to settle for now. Not told of anymore oddities or problems than when it walked in; I left. Finally able to take it home and enjoy what I had been missing. I had found it a bit stressful on the communication side, the lack of it mostly and an air of not caring when you walked in and talked to one of the employees, like he had more important things to be doing. Until the next morning. When all of a sudden, when I turned it on, it made a jet engine noise followed by rattling and now had a fan desync which would result in fans stopping, spinning slowly, or spinning faster. I brought it back in and was told *maybe* they could have it fixed today, or at least within 2 weeks. So we left it there, and I received a call later that afternoon. I know my fans weren't making these noises, nor desync problems, when they went in. Why? Because it sits next to me, on my desk, and had working lights on inside in a tempered glass screen case. I had just wanted some explanation of why it was doing that now, when it hadn't before. I had already had to fix a couple of things when it first booted back up, such as the Windows Activation, something I knew about, but was never told so if I was less savvy with it, I'd likely not have. And this is where the problem starts. I, and my father, were more than willing to shill out another 150 to replace the fans. No more, but willing to do that. Neil, the boss, over the phone, got incredibly unprofessional, and accusatory. I was no longer willing and would be picking it up promptly, there was no reason to start yelling at my father. When we picked it up, he followed us out the door, saying things behind our back, and made my dad even angrier, and caused a scene that I'm glad didn't escalate beyond a yelling match, despite my fathers claims that he resorted to telling someone to get a gun, rather than for my father to leave. I will not be coming back, and I know he'll reply refuting this. I'm sorry it ended like that, but not enough to not say something.

Needed laptop formatted and paid upfront diag fee (80 bucks)...almost 2 months go by and I decide to call them, first, they said Ram was the problem, I said no it needs formatting, then it was some board that was bad...I asked what it was, even the guy couldn't tell me, turns out that wasn't what was wrong either. Finally, they did what I asked and reinstalled windows, and when I get it back, there aren't any screws in it...also after all this, they wanted to sell me an overpriced charger...they acted like they did me the favor by not charging me anything more...can honestly say they dropped the ball on every step. Will take my business elsewhere, who knows if they forgot something inside.. updated review...you didn't give me a discount if you had maybe things would have been different. You also called me trying to sell me another control board that I obviously didn't need. This is a just review and cooler heads have prevailed as my opinion hasn't changed. Please be well and stop trying to harass me.
