I came in to simply return an Amazon package and made my way to the counter awaiting Robert to finish with a customer to service my return next. Instead of coming to my location after he finished with the customer, he immediately called for the next person in line to check-out while I still sat waiting as He saw me walk up at the time he was finishing with the previous customer. A female associate was helping a different customer and upon me asking her if Robert was going to check me out, she simply took it upon herself to process the return. While she was processing my return, Robert then proceeded to walk outside and gossip with a person in the parking lot leaving the female associate the only one in the store working Amazon returns and checking out customers..... Simply put, customer service should be priority #1 and having a sense of urgency is another area of opportunity for this store as this location is never busy with patrons..... Be better, do better.....

Here we goooooooo!!! So, I had a bit of a delima with not having recipt tape in my store and it is a must have for my business. I decided to pay this Staples on Preston Rd a visit to see if they had any in stock. I found the aisle of what I was in search for, but couldn't find the specific size tape that was looking for. Associate Kam assisted me in my search, but we were unsuccessful in locating what I needed. I picked up a pack of recipt tape that I "thought" would work and proceeded to checkout. I was greeted at checkout by Josiah who had a smile that lit up the store. He asked if I found everything ok and how was my visit at the store. This is something that is hardly ever asked in today's retail world so I was pretty pleased. I informed him that I was unable to find what I was looking for, but I was going to try what I picked out. He told me that if it doesn't work, they will be happy to help me find what I was looking for. An hr later I returned to the store due to my recipt tape selection not working. Josiah promptly issued me a refund and then started figuring out what I needed and how to have it delivered to my business so that I didn't have to make another trip. He had manager Danny and team support Fami assist in the hunt for the right paper for my machines. Danny was able to find the tape, but noticed that it would take time to get to me so, he found recipy tape that the store doesn't use and gave it to me to try. This truly made my day. As a business manager, I needed this today and the team at this Staples made sure I left the store happy. If you are ever in the Frisco area and are in need of products for your business, don't hesitate to come here. If you see any of the people mentioned above, you're going to be well taken care of.

My experience with Staples was beyond frustrating and unprofessional. I called twice to check on the status of a pickup order that had been pending for over 24 hours for a single item. Both calls had hold times exceeding 15 minutes, which is already unacceptable. On the first call, I provided my first and last name, but the representative claimed that wasn’t enough information and asked for my order number. When I told them I needed a moment to check my email, they told me to call back and hung up after barely giving me 60 seconds to find the details. This lack of patience was unprofessional, especially given the amount of time I’d already spent on hold. The second time I called, after another long wait, I was connected to the same representative who hung up on me earlier. Once she realized I’d been forwarded to the wrong department, she rudely told me to hold and then hung up again. Finally, on my third attempt, I spoke to someone who informed me that my item was still in the warehouse and hadn’t even arrived at the store yet—despite the website showing it as in stock at the location. In total, I spent over 40 minutes on the phone dealing with dismissive and rude service. Staples completely failed to provide even basic professionalism or efficiency. This will be my last time ordering from them.

Deceptive Business Practices & Terrible Customer Service I purchased a laptop as a gift for in-store pickup because the website clearly stated it was available for purchase and pickup within an hour. As I was getting ready to head to the store, I checked the order status—only to find out that Staples had canceled it without notifying me. I called customer service to find out what happened, and instead of a helpful response, I got a condescending employee who flat-out denied my order existed, saying: "You didn’t place an order, I’m the one who packs all orders, man, and you haven’t placed one." Then he had the nerve to add, "Maybe your card got declined." Excuse me?! I have proof of my purchase, and I certainly didn’t just imagine spending my money. What makes this feel like an outright scam is that I was still able to repurchase the same laptop despite it supposedly being out of stock. How does that make any sense? Now, I’ve had to place a delivery order instead—meaning I was charged twice due to the pre-authorization hold, leaving me $1,950 out-of-pocket thanks to Staples in Frisco’s lack of transparency and professionalism. (The first transaction charged me twice, so it's a total of three transactions...) I’ve attached proof of my canceled order and the laptop still being listed as available. This is unacceptable, and I will think twice before trusting Staples again. And yeah, "man," I definitely did not place an order from your store. Do better.

The store is well-organized and offers a wide selection of school supplies with numerous back-to-school discounts. The customer service is extremely helpful.
