I dread having to go in person to get assistance, but I had no choice as the remote Apple technician stated I would need to go in person for someone to help me. They were able to schedule me a few days later at the Baybrook location. I'm glad they scheduled me for a weekday while everyone was at work and school. The store was not as busy which was great. I walked in and was greeted by several team members. One of them checked me in for my appointment. Josue was assigned to my case and started to work on it immediately. He was very diligent and knowledgeable. I appreciated that he did not ask me what was wrong with my device and took the initiative to read up on my situation. Josue explained the entire process of how he was going to get my device up and running again. While we waited for updates to patch through, he also helped me make a decision on the newer versions of the iPad. I have very little patience going into a store and getting a device fixed, but the entire situation was seamless with Josue.

lots of staff selling and talking to each other. but very few at the tech/genius bar to actually help. we waited 2.5 hours for the genius desk. ends up we have to reset our password. get this. as of october… apple added a new feature and turned it on. if you want to change your password you have to wait another hour. supposedly to give people an hour to find their phone and shut it off. it’s insane. and nobody told us during the 2.5 hour wait that you should turn this feature off. otherwise you have to wait another hour and loose your place in line! i appreciate the new features intent. but a little training to their staff would have been nice. when checking in they could suggest shutting it off. vs logging into the demos computers to surf themselves. gees

Updated: This location is still here in November 2024, after all the press about Apple products on the down low in 2024. My review remains at three stars for two reasons. After purchasing a 3 ft. ( 1m ) Lightning (white tip) to USB cable connector at $19 for my Apple IPad. since March, it failed to work in charging my IPad only eight months later, on November 30, 2024. Secondly, the Apple associate in March failed to mention that Apple Baybrook has a policy with a receipt for a one year warranty towards their accessories. Maybe other products as well. My first experience here at this location was on March 1, 2024. I don't normally go to Baybrook from Baytown, although this is the only retail distributor locally for Apple products. I needed a charging cable and saw their shortest was approximately 3 feet, although my preference would be at least four feet long for a perfect length. Their USB to 'lightning' 3.3ft connector as they branded it, is overpriced at $19.00, but until the universal connector of type C is standardized universally, and soon next year, this is Apple's way of nickel and diming the consumer, that is if you must own one of their smart devices. In my case, I have been attached to the iPad ever since I was gifted my first iPad Air computer when they were first launched. The best way to approach this location is to park near the mall entrance, between JC Penny's and Macy's department stores. You'll see the two flag staff poles outside the mall entrance.

Unhelpful. Over the past year, my family and I have visited this location several times seeking assistance with our Apple products. Unfortunately, each interaction has been far from helpful. Despite being the closest location to us, the consistent inconvenience has led us to choose other stores instead. I recommend others do the same.
