I went to the store to pick up an on-line order, but expanded that to include shipping an item. There was a very nice woman who was able to help me with finding shipping material, getting everything prepared, and then showed me my shipping options and costs. All the while being very friendly and having a nice conversation. She made my visit to the store very enjoyable... much more than one expects going into an office supply store.

Questionable management. I'm an ipostal customer who chose this Staples as my business hub. Today I went in to pick up my package as UPS said it had delivered 3 hours ago. I figured that was plenty of time to have my package checked in and if not, they would easily find it because they usually had it sitting out on the counter ready to be checked in. This was not the case today. Still the employees were friendly and eventually the package was discovered. I thought, great, I'll be on my way in no time. What happened instead was I got a young lady who came out to give me a talking to. Letting me know that they have 24 hours to check in any mail for ipostal services and that she had a business to run! Can somebody please remind her that that IS her business and I'm a customer like everyone else? She probably is combative with fellow employees as well as I was told she was the assistant manager. Can you believe this? I spoke with the district manager who resides in that store apparently and she had to remind me that she was listening and not ignoring me. Good lord, that speaks for itself. She seemed totally unphased by what I had to say so this tyrant will probably not be trained in the proper way to approach a customer. I'm at a loss as to what to do in a situation like this. It seems nobody cares about being friendly or at least non-combative to customers. Maybe when all the brick and mortar stores close they'll finally see their mistake, although I'm not counting on it. If I ran my business that way, it wouldn't last more than a week and I'd have to shut everything down. Quit hiring psychos for management. It's not a great business model, really!

Online ordering was easy. Item was ready for pickup quickly. Staff was friendly and helpful. The assembly instructions for the office chair I purchased were easy to follow. The chair I purchased could use more cushion but I knew that going in. I had a cushion for my previous chair. Otherwise the chair was very comfortable and happy with purchase.

I had faxed sets of papers to two different numbers, got that the faxes were sent successfully, and they were not sent at all to their destination. So do NOT use those services for anything important. You will also have to go back to the store for a refund. I will also add that this store could not provide me with the outgoing fax number. Y'all need to be able to identify the outgoing fax besides the fax ID on the receipt that's over 20 characters?? We need a normal 10 digit number to let receivers know where the fax is coming from.
