I have a Best Buy protection plan to cover my devices for service and tech support. The store at our previous location would allow you to drop off your computer at any time, and sometimes they even worked on it on the spot. My wife just tried to drop our computer off but they said they needed an appointment. At first, they weren't going to allow her to make an appointment because her name isn't on the account which I find odd since we have the same last name and it's a just a drop off. When my wife got caught in traffic, she called back to let them know and courteously cancel the appointment. The person on the phone told her, "you can't cancel the appointment! Only your husband can!" They just literally made the appointment for her but then wouldn't allow her to cancel? I never had an issue with the support at our previous Best Buy location. After this experience, I am contemplating why I am paying hundreds of dollars a year for support.

They do a good job on computer repairs. They have service contracts that cover all your devices that are well worth the money. We've had to bring in our desktop twice this year already and haven't had to pay a thing.

Great customer service and very informative and helpful. They fixed both mine and my daughters computers. They explained to me what happened with each computer and gave helpful info on what to do to prevent it from happening again. They were also very helpful in giving me knowledge on parental controls and how to manage my daughters computer.

If you're not computer literate like me, you need this service. They answer all kinds of questions, software & hardware, offer, tips and tricks. Just visit and ask. Now days, calling the store only connects you to national customer service folks. They're sweet as pie, but have little to no tech knowledge. Go in with your devices. Get the help you can count on.
