Customer Service is not a concept taught, learned, or encouraged at this site. From the availability of their techs, to the non-sensical appointment setting requirement. I tried to drop my laptop off at the geek squad counter as I’ve done before. I knew it would take a bit as the one solitary tech present was currently assisting a customer. I worked with him for the first issue and he was thorough, so I wasn’t worried about it. After a prolonged bit of time I was looking online to see if it would be better to just schedule an appointment and saw there were available times later that evening that was convenient for me. So I asked the same tech if it’d be better to just to that. He assured me he was almost done and he’d get to me then. We sat back down and shortly after some other tech showed up and asked what we needed. I explained my situation, he looked me up on his computer, then proceeded to tell me that he could schedule me an appointment later that day to drop it off… (?) I’m thinking, I’m already here why can’t I just drop it off now? Well, I was in a better than normal mood so I didn’t press it. I asked if there were later times that day later than the 2 options he gave me, (remember, I was just on their website looking at this). He said no, but he could set me up the day after…(?!?) at this point, I was ready to dip, but looked at the kid looking all hopeful that he’d get his laptop fixed. I went ahead and took the appointment. This is one of the dumbest things a corporation could ever do if their goal is to make money. Who does that? Oh, you want to spend money? Today? Well no, you’ll have to come back tomorrow… (?!!!!!?) Geek Squad CEO, sites like these are bringing you down. Revamp the system, fire these folks, and re-establish your once highly sought after service. This isn’t getting it done. My condolences in advance… either that or focus on specific locations who ensure the hiring of professionals to represent your company. This place is not doing you any favors. I’ll update with a review of the actual service……this was just about drop off…

These guys scheduled an appointment and they called me to confirm if I was coming. I confirmed that I was still going. I got there only to be told that they canceled the appointment. Without notice or anything. I wasted my time driving for one hour away to be told that they canceled it. They should've just called me and let me know that they canceled my appointment. The most unreliable people

Terrible customer service. Long wait time to get assistance even with an appointment. Some of my questions got ignored. I was assisted by 2 guys that didn't know much. Once I was helped by a girl, she was the only one helpful and knowledgeable of what she was doing. I DO NOT recommend this place for Apple care or any other protection plans.

I always rely on the Best Buy Geek Squad in Cedar Hill for all of my tech repairs and advice. They always do what they say they will do and for the price or price range they indicated. They are always polite and never look down on me because I am not a tech person at all. They always provide the information I need and answer all my questions in great detail, with out pressuring me, so that I can make a very informed decision. I have been using them for at least 5 years and they have never let me down. With the online check in the wait time is so-o-o much faster! Keep up the good work!
