If you're looking for a clear, transparent, and budget-friendly experience, this is not the place for you. I went in expecting a simple diagnostic (thanks to the advertised $0 diagnostic fee), only to be met with a whirlwind of fees and recommendations that seemed to multiply faster than my computer's problems. After dropping off my CPU, I got a text with a laundry list of charges: $79 to recover the OS, $50 for rush service (because apparently, urgency comes with a price), and if I wanted my data transferred? Well, that’d be a cool $199 just for "documents, photos, and videos." Oh, and don’t forget the external hard drive—either a 250GB or 500GB. After all, if you're already dealing with a full drive, why not add some more complexity to the mix? Then came the “best” part: the suggestion to buy a new system altogether. All for the low price of… well, let’s just say it wasn’t the deal I was hoping for. I ended up picking up my CPU without any actual work done, but not before being hit with a $50 rush service fee, which wasn’t exactly clear when I signed the paperwork (and shame on me for not reading the fine print). Sure, I got a discount and paid only $29, but I can’t help but feel like I was sold an expensive lesson in why reading the fine print matters. At the end of the day, what was supposed to be a simple task of transferring data turned into a confusing and overpriced ordeal. If you want a simple and clear service, prepare for some sticker shock and a lot of unexpected recommendations. Not exactly the "zero-fee" experience I had in mind.

My built computer was having some issues not booting so I was recommended to this shop after calling around. I saw on their site and also confirmed on the phone they advertised a $0 diagnostic fee. This sounded like a great offer. When I dropped it off, I was told there would be a $30 opt-out fee if I chose not to proceed with repairs. Seemed fair they have to make money. I agreed and signed the paperwork stating this. The guy was super friendly and explained it may take 3 days to find the problem. The next day they texted and let me know my gpu was bad and it had to be replaced, they also let me know my ram slots weren't working properly. I was happy they had figured it out a day earlier than scheduled. They offered me a replacement card for $120, or I could get a different card ordered to them plus $50 for their labor and cleaning. If I chose to opt out, the fee would be $79. This was surprising, given that I was told it was a $30 opt-out fee and wasn't told their may be a change in this price. While they were friendly and quick to diagnose the issue and offered a replacement GPU at a reasonable price, I felt misled by the discrepancy in the opt-out fee. It’s disappointing when businesses aren’t transparent about their pricing.

These guys are awesome. They are fast, communicative, and were even flexible on price when I shared my concerns. Everyone is so friendly, even when I had a million questions. I had an issue with an old laptop, as well as a dead SSD, and both were resolved within days. It was just such a great experience. You can really tell they care about their clients.

My water bottle completely spilled in my bag and doused my laptop. It was a surface laptop where Best Buy could not open it, and they told me I needed to buy a new one to fix it. Compu plus came to the rescue and deep cleaned my laptop to suction out the water and dust that created the damage, and saved my laptop for only $100 and in 2 days. Very grateful that my new surface laptop is saved! My camera is the only thing that remained broken, and I bought an attachable camera from them for only $20. I will be coming back for all my broke appliance needs! Great customer service and prices.

Alex is so personable and helpful, and the whole staff is so nice and responsive. Solved a problem my son has had all semester on his laptop while away in college without being there to see it happening in person. Called me within hours on a Friday afternoon with a solve and fix. Highly recommend!
