Apple sent me a defective phone and I lost 2 years of data, photos, videos. I was heartbroken because those were precious memories and the loss was not even my fault. Eli and Hannah helped me and they were very sympathetic and understanding of what I was going through. Hannah especially did what she could to replace things that were lost or damaged during all of the repairs, such as my screen protector. I think that they did a great job of representing Apple because even though this all was not their fault they did their best to make amends on Apple's behalf. Very thankful for them.

I just walked past the Apple Store where I had a frustrating conversation with the manager months ago about them not including a charger with my phone, forcing me to buy a $20 adapter. As I walked by, my phone suddenly froze—completely. Did you know you can’t reset your phone if the screen is deactivated? I couldn’t do anything except call 911 by holding the side button. After years of using iPhones, I’ve never seen such a complete freeze. It makes me wonder if the manager I made eye contact with somehow locked my phone. This experience has me questioning Apple, and I doubt I’ll ever buy another one again.

If you are considering buying anything from Apple, I suggest doing it online or through a different retailer. I was pretty disappointed with my experience from Apple after placing a to-go order for the new iPhone 16. For reference, I typically purchase through my carrier, but my phone had broken and I needed to be able to leave the store with the phone instead of ordering it. The entire interaction from one of the sales associates was extremely frustrating. The process that should’ve taken 10 minutes to pick up, became 45. The sales associate talked to me like I had never encountered a phone before (for reference I’m in my 20s), and kept asking me questions like I didn’t know what she was talking about. For example, my phone had a screen protector on, when she asked I confirmed there was one. She then picked at the screen for a second and said “yeah I don’t think there is one”, and I reassured her that I’d know if I purchased a screen protector or not. She also was trying to have me pay the $1199 for the iPhone, stating that she couldn’t see on her end that my purchase was set up through the carrier. Additionally, they did a “evaluation” on my previous phone that functioned perfectly fine other than the back being cracked, and said that I have a $0 trade-in value. Overall it was a very negative experience, and there’s truthfully no benefit to going to an Apple store that can’t be done online or somewhere else with better service.

We visited this store on Sunday, January 5, 2025. I was immediately greeted by an Apple team member (Josiaha). He got us checked in for our appointment. I was assisted by both Rebecca and Hannah. Both were very knowledgeable and willing to help me diagnose my phone issue. They determined that my problem was a software issue and thoroughly explained to me how they would go about trying to fix it. I am thankful that they both took the time necessary to repair my iPhone. They could have very easily told me that I would need to buy a new phone as I no longer have a warranty. After they fixed my phone, I inquired about my son doing a demo with the virtual reality headset. Rebecca quickly scheduled an appointment time for my son. David was fantastic at walking my son through the different features of the VR. It was an absolute pleasurable appointment. Much different than my last visit to this Apple Store. We drove an hour and 45 minutes in inclement weather to keep our appointment. It was well worth it! I highly recommend this store for your iPhone needs.

I want to be honest. Everyone was amazing, and very helpful. I can’t remember the energetic Caucasian man’s name that came over to help me, but I’d like to apologize for not having a better attitude towards him. It wasn’t my day, and I apologize.
