The whole geek squad staff are great. Shout out to Will, Louis, Emad, Walter, Jarrett, Tony, Truman and Lem. Customer service was awesome and they had my computer done faster than what was quoted

These guys could not diagnose a cold, let a lone a computer problem. I took my computer that is less than 1 year old, high end laptop to them for battery issues. They took it 2 times and I told them that the problem persists 2 times. The response was that it is because of display settings being higher than recommended. Remember that this is a high end laptop and on battery it is working for about 1.25 hours. They said "Manufacturers wildly over estimate their battery life". Finally they said "What do you want me to do about it?". I took some time to do a little research myself, found out the issue, did a small update and resolved the problem, but should I need to when it is under warranty? Isn't that what they are supposed to do? I am not sure what they are geeks in, but is not technology.

Stood in line during pandemic to drop off PC. Purchased the repair plan previously and was told "just drop it off and we'll take care of the rest". After 30 minutes in line the "Geek" never acknowledged the now 8 ppl in line. After others started to realize the line was growing the 1 "Geek" working asked one of the 20 best buy employees that were standing around tell us we needed to schedule an appointment for me to drop off my PC. Seriously! An appointment to make an appointment to pick up my fixed PC? There was even a table listed for drop offs but apparently the 3 pages of info they received from me when I signed up for the service plan is not enough for them to be able to contact me if they have a question? Terrible way to treat loyal customers!

Geek Squad at poplar has always been awesome! Mr. Tony and Mr. Will helped me with my computers email problems. If you go there a lot, make sure you get the membership.

I wanted to repair a hinge on my laptop and they tried to charge me 400 dollars at first. Then they charged me more than 200 bucks for shipping parts and service and it wasn't even fixed properly. Did research and you can fix it yourself for less than 20 bucks. Also payed them 150 to remove malware while they were not busy at all. It's been 3 days and they haven't even started to try and fix it. Never going to this geek squad again. Don't read their reviews on the best buy website you can't even review them there. Read their consumer affairs reviews. 1.1 rating
