I was looking online for a Mac Mini, none of my software would update past Monterey, and called Jacob to see if the one I was looking at was a good deal. Jacob is very knowledgeable and I do respect his judgement. He pointed out a couple of things I had not thought about and then offered to build me one. When I asked him how long, he said 5-days. One and a-half months later, I still had not gotten a Mini. I could overlook the time delay IF he had kept me up to date on the progress. Every time they did return my calls, he had some very juvenile excuses, honest excuses, but poor excuses. From the get-go the Mini had problems, the fans raced because it overheated, when the OS updated I had to reinstall a patch he had used to force the machine to accept Ventura. They would not return my calls with questions. Not 6 months in, the Mini hard drive crashed. I took the Mini to UBreakIFix on Old Callahan Dr and the things they told me that were wrong with the build from Jacob is unacceptable. So for the $500 to RJ and $250 to UBreak.. to make it work (but only with the Monterey OS putting me back to the original reason for getting it--I had to have Ventura) I could have bought the Mini I wanted.
