I had a battery installed in an iPhone 8. By noon the next day it was at 40% with minimal use. I took it back to the store and explained it’s probably an old battery and even though it shows 100% state of charge batteries can still be bad even though never installed. They tested it and said it was OK despite my now depleted charge to7% by 3 PM. How did my phone back is new fingerprints included No, they didn’t bother to wipe it off before they handed it back to me. This is the second time they’ve done that. They gave it back to me and said nothing was wrong, and if I had issues, I could talk to the manager who would be in seven days from now. Not accepting that answer I went to a different store and they understood that the newly installed battery could possibly be bad despite 100% state of charge. They decided to take a chance and actually listened to what I was telling them. The newly installed battery is that 90% by noon and as I write this at 10 PM at 61% remaining. The moral of the story is to listen to your customers and don’t assume you’re always correct.

Excellent service. Had problems with a replacement iPhone. Verizon couldn’t help me at all. The guy at uBreakiFix was knowledgeable and helpful. He was the one that suggested I had a defective SIM card. That was the case, but I still have problems. Waiting for another one to arrive. Great people here

Nov 7th (2024) I came here for them to fix the volume on my cellphone. I had come about a month earlier and they said they opened it and cleaned it. It seemed back to normal so I paid $30. It worked for 7 hours. Then the volume quit working. I recently read where they have a 30 day guarantee so returned to see what they could do. This time was different. The guys kept pushing me to buy a new screen for $200+ . For over 2 hours this went back and forth. Each time they brought my phone from behind the wall, it was worse. 1. In reboot mode. 2. In safety mode. I caught them in several lies. I asked them to just get it back the way it was when I came in. Finally they did. I can NOT recommend this business. (I thought I'd posted this before but just saw where it hadn't gone through. )

I had a great experience. I have a Motorola Razor 2024 that I know isn't near as common as most iPhones or Samsung phones, but the guy was very up front and honest about what to expect. I did pay half up front so that I could keep my phone with me while waiting for the screen to be ordered (as opposed to leaving it with them at the store), but I didn't mind it too much. I did experience a delay in getting my phone fixed after the work order was made, but that was due to the Christmas holiday season. Shipping delay was to be expected honestly. I did feel $260 for a simple screen replacement was a bit expensive, BUT I have no other experiences to compare this to so that may be normal cost. No issues, and I'll definitely use them again if necessary.

Took my phone to Batteries Plus for a new screen. They replaced it and after I picked up, it nearly immediately began to glitch and freeze. I brought it back, they replaced it 3 more times same issued. Ultimately they gave me my money back and had to put the old cracked screen back on it since at least it worked. Took it to Ubreakifix across the street, and they fixed it up for the same price with no issues. Works and looks great! Will be back if ever needed.
