My phone suddenly started giving me issues so from there I contacted apple and they connected me with tech monk here where I live and I’m so grateful they did. I don’t have apple care plus coverage but I did have a limited warranty. The staff was super kind and very helpful. I ended up having my phone fixed 3 days later free of charge. They also kept me updated throughout the fixing process. Highly recommend for iPhone repair.

This place is fantastic! We don’t have an Apple Store in Myrtle Beach but this place is even better. Hardly ever wait for service. Techs are knowledgeable and friendly. You can schedule through the Apple support site or call them directly. Our only other option listed on Apple support for our area is Best Buy. Don’t waste your time going there! They are not Mac people at all. Tech Monk Aron was extremely helpful.

The TechMonk guys are awesome. I brought my “aging” iPad in for repair. Aron quickly assessed the situation and explained what would be required to get my iPad working properly. In the meantime, Martin allowed me to pick his brain on issues with other devices. Looking for friendly,courteous technical service and support for your devices ? This Is the place.

Worst customer experience I’ve ever had. Please read the reviews on yelp to get a better understanding of this place. I have apple care plus plan made an appointment to replace phone screen. When I get there Martin assisted me and was very rude, pompous, entitled and condescending. I showed him appointment time that I had and said my apple care said it was $29. Martin proceeded to try and extort an additional $49 for a rush fee service. I told him if yall are busy I can come back first thing in the morning or at another day when they have no work in order to avoid this fee. He said it doesn’t work like that and if u want to get my screen replaced I will have to pay the extra $49 didn’t matter if I came back days later. I knew right then something wasn’t right. I left and contacted apple, they confirmed that this wasn’t right and that they would be contacting the company and apologized. Said to try and go back and try and get someone else to help me. Went back a couple days later was helped by a different person and my experience was night and day. The guy was helpful had me in and out of the store in 10 mins. I paid less than $58 and had a new phone ordered for me under my apple care plan. Instead of dealing with Martin and paying $80+ and just getting screen repaired I got a whole new phone which was way better because my battery was only at 82% and back glass was also broken. Anyways after I went back there to get my new phone once it came in I had another horrible experience with Martin. I wish I would’ve read the yelp reviews before going to this store. If you live in Myrtle beach area beware of this store it’s best to just go all the way to Charleston, if you have to deal with Martin good luck. I contacted support via apple and they apologized for my experience and said that they would be contacting the store so that ppl won’t have to deal with what I went thru. Hopefully this company makes the necessary changes and makes sure employees like Martin are retrained or just let go.
