I cannot get over how poorly Apple treats its customers anymore. I had a brand new iPhone 15 that did not work right from day one. My iPhone 8 worked better than the new 15. I very quickly not within two weeks though. Contacted Apple to let them know. There was a problem with the phone and I was brushed off. I brought it back again And would not let them brush me off and I was told that unless I can duplicate the problem in front of them, it doesn’t exist. So then I spent the next three months screen recording all of the weird things that we’re going on with my phone, And finally they agreed to send it out for repair. When I got it back, the camera no longer worked fully, and my alarms no longer rang. They would be flashing on my screen, but no sound. I just left there for the fifth time in the last year, and they are not going to take responsibility for the fact that my camera worked when I gave it to them, but it doesn’t work now. I have been an Apple customer since the 1980s. It will be a cold day in hell before I ever buy another Apple phone.Customer service from Apple is pathetic, disappointing and atrocious. I cannot recommend their product because they don’t stand by it. At the price that I paid for that phone it should work perfectly certainly better than the iPhone 8.

I tried to buy an iPhone as my previous one was old. I had a young lady helping around the same age as me around 20-22 and she was great and spent so much time helping me, she had glasses and was very patient as this was my first time buying a phone alone for the first time. She then had to help someone else as it was very busy and I was waiting for authorization. I then had a man help me later who spent 5 minutes rushing me through the process who then said “oh looks like you can’t get a phone today,” I obviously asked why and he didn’t seem to have an explanation besides to go to the T-Mobile. He was just so rude and condescending, especially since I am so young. The women spent around 2 hours trying to help me and after 5 minutes talking to this man he basically said to just leave and we can’t help you. I had to ask him to explain why I wasn’t able to get a phone today and he replied “honestly can’t explain.” This was incredibly disappointing and frustrating and wasted 2 hours of my time. I want to thank the young lady that was helping me, she had glasses on and was incredibly helpful and sweet. Although for the man I had a terrible experience especially trying to buy my first phone for myself. I was so frustrated and confused why I wasn’t able to get a phone without a valid explanation. You should give the young women a raise and discipline the young man who was around 5’7” man who made me feel stupid for trying to buy a new phone as a young woman, shame on you.

I had one of the worst experiences possible when I brought my MacBook Pro to get a battery replacement, and the technical team messed up my device, gave it back to me and claimed that they found another issue that was nonexistent to my knowledge, and they caused, since my device was working properly when I first got it there. The manager did not offer any compensation for the damage day did declared it not useful Anymore, and said there was nothing to do on there. When I Know Apple has The big Company that it is can at least offer a gift card or any kind of compensation.

Micheal at the downtown store is the best! This is the second time I’ve luckily been randomly paired with him for repairs and he is just amazing and on top of it! Even remembered the date of my last visit.. super cute too ;) thanks Micheal!

BEWARE THE (lack of) RETURN POLICY In general I've had good experiences at this King Street Apple location, besides the parking, of course. Michael, the Genius Bar tech I've worked with recently, is very good at both explaining the technical issues I've had (old, crusty computer) and being genial and professional. I bought a HomePod on December 20th but it wasn't really a good fit for our family so wanted to return it and possibly buy 2 HomePod Minis or some other Bluetooth speakers. When I arrived at the store on January 17th after a 3 block walk from my parking space I was informed the return policy for Apple is only 14 days!?!? The manager added that even the "extended" holiday return period ended on January 8th so I was out of luck. This is my fault because I either wasn't listening or didn't notice the return policy was so crappy. I'm accustomed to better customer service than this. Amazon usually gives you a month no questions asked and I just returned something to Home Depot after about 10 weeks! I would think twice before buying products here based on the ungenerous return policy. Also, the HomePod sounds pretty good but is clunky at interfacing with my IPhone. The Google Nest is easier to deal with.
