As someone without extensive knowledge of computer setups and software, I would like to express my gratitude to computer experts like Stan from Abacus Computer Services. Stan demonstrated exceptional professionalism and was able to thoroughly explain all aspects of the process. He successfully conducted a cleanup of our household computer and provided valuable suggestions for upgrading, as our current device is 12 years old. Stan took the time to explain everything in detail, and when I encountered difficulties reassembling the computer, he was patient and incredibly helpful. For anyone in need of computer assistance or unsure where to begin with a computer issue, I highly recommend Abacus Computer Services.

I did a really dumb thing and knocked over a glass of ice tea that landed on top of my Dell PC. PC didn't like that and decided not to start any more. The PC is 5 years old and I was ready to replace it anyway. I ordered a replacement - but I really needed data that was on the dead PC. I've known Stan for a long time as a member of our local ham radio club. However, I've never needed data recovery, And Stan was the answer! He picked up my dead PC, took it to Abacus and did his magic. It only took a couple of days and he returned my old PC and an external drive I gave him - he moved all of the data from the two drives in the PC. I just finished looking at that drive. Stan basically got everything from the old PC and I can bow get to all the the essential data I need!. Stan was fast and efficient and very cost efficient. If you have technical PC issues, your answer is right here. Call Abacus and I'm sure you will be satisfied. If I could rate Abacus with more than 5 stars I would! After losing all of my files as a music producer, I was very lost in terms of what I could do to recover them. Stan was extremely helpful and made me feel like it wasn’t the end of the world. Although I did not send the hard drive to the clean room yet (as recommended by Stan), Stan still took the time and effort to look at my hard drive with his at-home equipment and help me figure out what was possible — all out of the pure kindness. I cannot praise Stan and Abacus Computer Services enough. When my hard drive crashed, I thought I lost 25 years of work, research, memories, books, music... basically most of my digital life. Stan took the time to consider all possibilities and provided reasonable options. He repaired my laptop and got it running again for an extremely fair price and in a very reasonable amount of time. Although he couldn't retrieve any data (that's how fried my hard drive was), he sent the drive off to a lab (for an additional/ agreed upon fee), and now I have 94% of my data back. All for less than I would have had to pay for a replacement computer... and most of the recovered files could never be replaced. Stan is friendly, fair, and frankly great at what he does. He takes the pandemic seriously, and I felt entirely protected while meeting with him in his garage. Even if I move out of the area, I will continue to bring my computers to Stan for help from now on. Thank you so much!
