Impossible to speak to a team member in the store. Lost my phone and was told I’d have to drive there to ask if it was found. Unbelievable.

Major problems with my Geek Squad protection plan at North Fayette Best Buy. I've been paying for the protection plan FOR YEARS. Finally I needed my phone replaced due to a cracked screen. Went into North Fayette, PA Best Buy/Geek Squad, the guy was wonderful, he told me $50. I could not do it on the spot and when I went back 4-6 weeks later, the staff at North Fayette told me $149. They told me I'd get a new phone. I reluctantly swapped my phone out for what I thought was new. When I questioned why $149 instead of $50, they could offer no explanation. (And the supervisor that did my new order was unbelievably rude). When I went out of town with my "new" phone, my voice and text services would not work. Again, on a second trip three hours from home, I could not access my voice and text services. I went to a nearby store for my cell plan and they told me I did not get a new phone (as someone else's name was deep inside of it) , and it was never set up correctly from the get go. They fixed it in 15 minutes. Upon returning home, I contacted Geek squad on a chat inside of my account and told them all the hassles I had. They gave me an appt at North Fayette and told me they'd send all of the details of the chat to them. They apologized and offered me a $50 credit for all of my trouble. When I got to North Fayette, the Geek Squad there could not access any of the online chat I had done the day before, and basically was clueless about everything I told them regarding the chat and the hassles with the phone. Where online Best Buy/Geek Squad offered me a $50 credit, North Fayette staff offered me nothing. If you are considering Geek Squad protection for your cell phone, and North Fayette is your store, think twice. After years of paying them monthly, I am sorely disappointed with their lack of continuity, and their poor customer service. I've been in management for years and I still can't believe the way I was treated. Whether I decide to follow up with another online chat, more likely I will never buy another cell phone (last three phones bought there) from Best Buy, and plan on canceling my Geek Squad protection.

I recently had a scheduled appointment with the Geek Squad for problems with an Arlo video doorbell. Mitchell Somach reinstalled the device, and now it works properly. After much difficulty with Arlo, I am certainly happy with the services of the Geek Squad and highly recommended them. They did not hesitate to help resolve the issue.

NOT HELPFUL & RUDE 1) She was completely wrong about what I needed and provided no extra help. 2) Not only is she not knowledgable, but she clearly doesn't like her job because it was obvious how annoyed she was... 3) uBreakiFix told me she didn't know what she was talking about and showed me EXACTLY what I needed. Their advice is going to SAVE me hundreds of dollars; so, THANKS for not knowing what you're doing, Lady at GeekSquad :)

I bought a lenovo laptop a few years back from bestbuy and unfortunately the screen started to give me issues and it was looking like i would need a repair. Without a warrenty it was going to cost 85 dollars to ship and then another 200-300 to get the screen replaced. Fortunately the agent I worked with was able to see that it was actually a software problem which cost me 0 dollars to fix. Props to him for being able to quickly and accurately find the problem and fix it.
