This guy is a beast! If you’re looking for a pc repairman he’s your main guy! I was looking to get my pc rehoused and upgraded with new fans. After searching online for a bit I came across this shop since I was new to the Pittsburgh area. Before this I would usually go to the geek squad, but after the wonderful service here I will not be going back. The shop had an amazing and comfortable atmosphere while looking super cool and our technician was super welcoming! He wouldn’t hesitate to answer all of our questions regarding the build, and took time to plan everything out together! He worked with us for about 14 hours to get everything up and working! I found out that after two years of having my computer the way it was, plastic was still on my components from the geek squad and my wiring was faulty as well. He helped me diagnose the problem and saved me from buying a new power supply. Everything was super affordable, and with my upgrade I’ve seen a difference of about 20 Celsius across my components. I couldn’t recommend anyone more than this guy, I’ll definitely be coming back!

My 10 year old PC was going to need a rebuild soon in order to be compatible with Windows 11. Then, after a power outage, my PC wouldn’t send a signal to the monitor. I took it to Afford A PC where Joe quickly had me up and running again. While there, we discussed what would be needed for a rebuild given how I would be using the computer. His expertise made it so I wasn’t building in more capability than I would use, yet we chose to future-proof it by putting in the latest versions of components. In other words, he tailored the computer to have everything I would need and last as long as possible. There isn’t room here to cover the many different aspects of the rebuild and how he covered details that I didn’t even know about, explained everything as he worked, checked up via text afterward to make sure everything was running properly. Suffice it to say I now have a great computer running Windows 11. Joe has a tremendous depth of knowledge, is very well organized, has great integrity. It was a great pleasure to watch this master at work. Moreover, as implied by the business name, Afford A PC, it’s all done very economically.

Joe is a stellar guy and does some really great work. My gaming PC stopped working randomly and Joe was able to schedule me in for an appointment within the week. Now my PC is running better than ever! Will definitely be going back whenever I need computer repairs in the future.

Brought my PC in for a display port issue. Not only was the issue fixed quickly, but Joseph was able to fix an audio issue as well, PLUS optimize my computer through updates and drivers. He also took the time to teach me about how to maintain and future proof my device. He does great work, has great prices and was great to talk with as he did the repairs. If you need a computer repair, or custom build, Joseph is the guy to see! Could not recommend more highly

Joe is an excellent technician. Even though he was already working on another project, he took the time to diagnose my problem. In about 5 minutes everything was fine. Turns out, I had loose RAM. Easy to have with the method my MB has for securing them. Only charged for the initial hour, not a 4 hour minimum like some repair techs charge. I am so happy with his work, I gave him more work to figure out if my older laptop can be saved. If you’re looking for a good tech who is honest, this is the person you want.
