I had a 2018 Macbook Air that I didn’t turn on for 2 years (yikes I know) I’ve been wanting to use it for my business and needed to try to get into it. None of my passwords were right and it wouldn’t even let me connect my apple ID to login. Long story short, the Geek Squad was able to just completely wipe my laptop and that was best case scenario for me! They had some troubles getting past the encryption (whatever that means!) and were able to keep me updated throughout the process! They saved me a lot of time, money, and stress. Thank you!!!!

Laptop was slowing down and eventually wouldn't get to login screen. Geek squad recommended a new hard drive to speed everything up. A day later it was done, data transfered, and works great. Will return in the future if needed.

Came in with my company laptop, and was treated extremely poorly. Was told they won't do anything until I pay $180 for a Best Buy membership. Explained I didn't want the membership and had permission from my employer to have a diagnostics run. They wouldn't do it. Also told me to go to Amazon to get a new battery for lap top when they sold them. Horrible employees and horrible experience.

We had a problem with our 56 in TV. It was under an extended warranty. First, they could not find the warranty. We had to go to the store to get that taken care of. Then we had to wait for the appointment and the window was six hours. We stayed home for that time and no one called. At 5:15 I called the geek squad to find out if they were coming. I was informed that they had called two hours before and had set up a new appointment for March 9. After being on the phone for over a half hour we took an appointment for Friday sometime between seven AM and seven PM. In the process we had ask to speak to a supervisor and was told we would have to wait another 45 minutes. THIS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will see what Friday brings. We were told we would get a narrower window. I hope so. I am not willing to give up another day. The person on the phone, Macy, was very helpful. It is the system that is screwed up.

Not at all impressed with their "certified Apple support".. I took in an iPad that was having charging port issues, and was still under warranty. They took it in the back to do an official diagnostic, and told me they "could see physical damage with their microscope", so it was not covered under the Apple warranty and I would need to pay $249.99 for a refurbished replacement, or take it to a repair shop who will do a repair as Apple does not repair iPads, only replaces them. The tech at the repair shop they recommended tells me that he used to work for Geek Squad and they don't even have microscopes. Whether or not that is true I don't know, but he recommended I double check with an actual Apple store or send it to Apple. I filed for a service request with Apple directly, shipped it to them (which Apple paid for) and sure enough 3 days later I have a replacement in hand from Apple that was covered under warranty. I won't use Geek Squad for Apple products in the future, I'll stick with dealing with Apple directly and save myself time and money!
