I put the PC together but Dave put his heart and soul into it. If you want a professional who is attentive and good, well, you're with the right guy. I couldn't be more pleased with his human quality. I recommend him. He's the best in his field. He's a top pro player.

I went to Staples to have a battery replaced in my MacBook. They declined. They "don't work on Mac". So I googled local repair places and found Rich Ideas. Took my Mac in on a Tuesday, they got the battery over night. On Wednesday they installed it and I had my computer back on Thursday! This the kind of service that is so uncommon today - but sorely needed. Rich Ideas is the best! I would give them 6 stars if I could.

Dave was awesome! He changed my laptop battery but there were some issues with the new battery charging, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was working before giving the all clear. He also took some time to help me identify some background activities that were contributing to battery drain. You can tell he is passionate about what he does and he truly cares about delivering excellent service. This is a local business I will continue to support!

Dave is terrific! He is pleasant, professional, and patient in explaining any questions I have. I called him yesterday morning about my computer, and within 20 minutes, he had it in his hands to work on. It was ready in a few hours. When I found that he does house calls, I asked him to help me on something that would take me forever to do. Both being early birds, he was at my house at 6 a.m. Happy to refer him for any computer repair. Excellent service.

I called Dave to see if he could help me with a computer problem. He said he could, and after quoting me a price that sounded reasonable, he asked me for more information. As we talked, he seemed to realize that I could fix the issue myself, and offered to explain how, rather than having me bring the computer to him. He took a good bit of his own time to make sure that I understood how to do it, and even offered to have me get back in touch with him if I ran into any questions. Sure enough, as I worked on fixing the problem, I did have a couple of questions, and when I texted them to him, he got right back to me. I’d initially called him after I had another estimate to fix my issue that seemed too high. Dave provided a free fix!! It’s rare to run into someone in business who just wants to help you, and especially someone who is willing to give up the opportunity to make some money doing something for you that you can do yourself. This tells me Dave is an honest person. I’m sure if the problem had been one I could not have fixed, that he would have fixed it for a fair price—not taking advantage. So, ultimately, this review is more about his character than anything. But you can be sure that the next time I need work done on my computer I will be going to Dave, rather than a place like Staples. I know he will treat me fairly, and that I’ll be able to count on him.
