I hope you never need to call the store for info or support from the Geek Squad. I dialed the local store's phone number, but it just forwards you to an 800 line with folks that I truly tried my best to understand. After three agents, even when I could cut through the accent, they were no help. Just advised me to drive into the store for an answer. My question was, why won't my vehicle start the day after having a Best Buy purchased stereo and back up camera installed by the Geek Squad? Unfortunately, this is the second install by the Squad that went badly. When they installed a remote starter in my wife's 2017 Highlander, I had to take it to a Toyota dealership to have them correct an installation error that effected other systems in the vehicle. Don't fall for the "Installation included" offer. You'll regret it! PS. Tough to drive to the store when my truck won't start.

Employee sold me a laptop that underperforms. I told the team member exactly what I needed and when I installed the applications they crashed. I also purchases a warranty plan when the employee told me it covered everything but of course it didn't. I called geek squad whom said they couldn't help and made an instore appointment. I drove 45 minutes to the store for geek squad to say they couldn't help me( guy was rude) and told me to call the number. I walked to customer service and explained to 4 employees my situation and they even said the best solution would to be to do an exchange and started looking on their phones for laptops in stocks that would match my needs. After 5 minutes the employees said we will be right back, one comes back later and says the manager declined the exchange without even talking to me. (Guess I was no good for the manager to talk to). She told me to call geek squads number to have it figured out. I called again when I got home just to be told to go to the store. I called customer service where I was transfered over 10 times. Many didn't transfer me to the right area while some said we can do the exchange but not provide confirmation email to prove that the customer service supervisor approved of the laptop exchange and they claimed they couldn't provide the proof so I asked to be transferred to someone higher up than him. He transfers me to someone in appliances and that person transferred me to someone in geek squad then another wrong transferred until I was finally transferred to a lady named Lynn who provided me with a confirmation # of an approved laptop exchange. I then try calling the store to get managers confirmation yet of course that's impossible and a customer service representative told me that the confirmation # doesn't show any notes. I have been bullied over and over again, lied to and taken advantage of due to I'm a woman so I must not know anything about computer. I consulted with a friend whom is a computer expert and they confirmed that I was taken advantage of because the laptop can not handle all the applications I use. All I wanted was an exchange but now I may just want a full refund. I have contacted BBB, if they want better reviews from me, then they need to resolve this as the laptop is not old and bought late September and is protected.

After spending several thousand dollars at your store more than 6 weeks ago and after several failed attempts to have said computers installed, we are yet again faced with a cancelled appointment. This was the third cancellation or no-show in as many weeks! We cannot use the equipment we paid for and this is not a good business practice. What's the point of Geek Squad if a customer cannot receive the services or use the products???

To get a hold of any of these people on the phone is nearly impossible. First time I waited 20 mins, second time over 45 mins. If you go in person, then they make you make an appointment which hardly is next day. Then they told me it would be done by Tuesday or earlier. It was done Wednesday. Oh, but the next appointment to pick up would not be until Friday. REALLY?! I went to pick them and one of the computers were not fixed correctly. They sent me a survey through the email, and when I told them all of this, someone called me concerned. He told me to go as soon as possible to repair the one that wasn't fixed correctly. Good customer service? No. The manager wanted to talk to me about the survey and how I was wrong about some of the things. Wow... Only "good" thing is that the service costs $211 for a full year and covers all my computers. But the service is not that great.
