The cashier instantly price-matched my laser jet printer cartridge. Only a few bucks lower , but he didn't give any arguments. The toner cartridge was hard to find on the shelf because the inventory was all jammed front, back, and sideways. Overall, not too bad for a big chain store.

Good location , stacked up items , greeted by staff when we were browsing stuff. We came here for store pickup and staff was courteous to drop the item in car. Great selection of clearance items , regular stuffs and staffs are helpful. All in all a good store and recommend this location.

We really needed a Staples! The one in Exton closed so we were forced down the road a bit to Downintown. Grateful it was there so we could pick up a few Christmas presents and other essentials we needed. Store was clean and staff were very kind and helpful.

I was looking at flyer paper and an Employee was walking by with their jacket and purse. They stopped and asked if I needed help. I asked a couple questions which they answered. Turns out she was already off and heading home but took the time to make sure I was happy. I appreciated her service. They had the items I needed and comparing the prices to Amazon they were the same or equivalent. The store feels a little tired. The front counters we're cluttered so I barely had room to place the items I was buying. They could use a freshing up. With that said the prices, convenience and service we're good and ultimately will be why I go back.

Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience at Staples in Downingtown. I needed a specific print job done, but the employee printed it on the wrong side of the paper, even after I pointed out the mistake. She insisted it was correct, and when it was time to reprint, the paper was out of stock. She wasn’t very friendly throughout the process, and when I called for a refund, the manager was more concerned about how it affected the store rather than making things right. Very disappointing service.
