I subscribed for insurance for my phone when I bought it two months ago, and now when I ask for it to be repaired, the employee says that he does not accept Galaxy devices and I have to go to Samsung. What is this nonsense? The employee evades responsibility. What about the 200$ I paid for the insurance

I’ve spent tens of thousands of dollars with Best Buy. This was the last straw. Went to the geek squad, quoted one price over the phone when I arrived they spent 10 minutes trying to up charge me for every dang thing all I wanted to do was replace a hard drive with an SSD drive on a working laptop. Tried Selling me an OS told them the OS is good and will transfer. The computer is only a couple months old. Then they decided they wanted an extra $150 above the install price to move the OS to the new drive. This is a simple operation I can do myself was just trying to get someone’s help from a company I’ve been with for years.

The geek squad service model is horrible. You have to make an appointment for everything. Even if you just want to drop something off and pick it up later, nope they won't do it. The place is seriously understaffed and they don't tell you that certain stores may not be able to perform the repairs that they offer on their website. You have to wait until your appointment to be told that. Yet another reason not to shop at Best Buy.

Had the worst experience with costumer service with their geek squad desk. The guy working there was super rude and didn’t even bother responding to my question even though I had an appointment.

Phone was stuck in “boot loop” and they fixed it no problem, when apple could not. Had to get it reset but luckily everything was backed up
