I visited Staples, Carlisle PA recently to have new self-addressed labels made after moving. I met with fellow NY’er “Patricia “ who has a wonderful personality! She was thorough and patient showing me numerous options until I found a style and a font I liked. Patricia may have been just doing her job but she did so by creating excellent custom service while providing a really fun conversation. Great job young lady!

Being tech-stupid, there is little in life these days that does not trip me up. Fortunately, when I go to our neighborhood Staples Store, I know someone will be endlessly patient with me no matter how baffled I am by the simplest problem (that is generally self-created because I don't know what I am doing). I deeply appreciate the kindness.

The guy running the register was rude. I went to the pickup counter, tapped the "I'm here" in the app and he comes over and was like "I need a QR code to scan". I told him I didn't have one and he turns around and says "Tell me when you find it." After back and forth he found my item then was just like "It's over there". I had to prompt him if I need to scan. The guy was not very much help at all.

First time I've used them for Amazon return. I entered and went to the ups area not noticing I was supposed to go to front desk. Waited for 10 mins while I was ignored while an employee was being trained. Eventually I was acknowledged and told to go to the other desk. When I got there no one was around amd no bell to ring. After a few more minutes waiting I was approached by an older woman with very corse personality. Next time I'll drive a little further to the ups store on campus. Food and drinks in the work areas. Light bulbs burnt out around the store and cob webs everywhere.

Printing a document worked well enough but we had to figure it out on our own. The employee working wouldn’t make eye contact with us despite standing at the desk 6’ away from us for a weirdly long amount of time.
