I have used MacForce twice in the last year. Once for data recovery and once for a laptop repair. Both experiences were outstanding. The work was completed very quickly and at a reasonable cost. The customer service was friendly, patient, trustworthy and professional. This is my go-to shop now and recommend them to anyone needing computer work.

Seems like a decent shop with good Employees. My problem is the are evasive on pricing. The did not want to tell me a rice range for what a repair would cost. They know what it would cost. This is a business strategy to trap customers who are less savvy into paying the diagnostic fee and having the sunk cost. The problem is with an older device, I have to decide whether a repair is worth it. None transparent pricing is lame.

My first experience getting my 12 mini phone taken care of at MacForce was outstanding I was delighted they had a 12 mini display in stock, for a phone that is no longer being produced Matt did a great job of explaining the $60 diagnostic fee which was applied to the final cost of the repair. And he guessed correctly that they only needed to replace the screen, for a reasonable price - not cheap exactly, but cheaper than replacing the phone that I really want to keep for a while Communication with Matt and the tech Steven were great, and I was happily reunited with my phone the same day I appreciated the quick service in a convenient location and will happily look for service on all my Apple devices there Also, they were running ancient black and white sci-fi tv on their tv, I think it was Buck Rogers - kudos for that

I took my computer in for them to tell me something I already knew. Charged me 60 bucks to tell me it wouldn’t turn on. Then they said it would be 700$ for Apple to fix it for a flat rate. Who knows if the part would have cost 10$ or 500$. I got the computer to turn on after a few weeks. Needless to say I upgraded and got a newer model used for a quarter of the flat rate price.

Won't go into much detail, but was hung up on for calling them out... For not trying a basic apple os reset on my $60 diagnostic for data recovery. Luckily I was able to recover my data myself and not send it to the company they recommended for up to a $5,000 data recovery fee. They did offer to refund me if I were to drive across town back to their location, so that's why they got two stars. However that's not something I can do before my major surgery. Right after offering me the refund he went into a super gaslighting/sarcasm spiel on how they'll change all their policies for me. Thanks, but no thanks.
