On Friday, I took my Asus laptop in for their free diagnostic. My laptop had been freezing up or the screen would turn black to the point I’d have to do a hard shut off and turn it back on again. Also, my keyboard was a little bent. Jason was at the store when I came by and let me know that Brandon, who works on the computers, wasn’t there. I left my computer there and was told I would get a call on Monday or Tuesday because they were closed on the weekend. I actually got a call the next day, Saturday. Brandon told me it was a hard drive issue and he would probably be able to fix it. But if he wasn’t able to, I would need a new computer and he offered to find the next model I should buy that supports my lifestyle and gaming needs so I didn’t have to go through the hassle. Amazing! I was told it would be about $150 for parts and service (because I am a student, I got a discount) and that I would get a call Monday or Tuesday when it’s ready. Monday morning, I got the call. My computer was fixed! I went in later that day to pay for it and was on my merry way. And it turned out to only be $100, which is so very appreciated as a college student. Just be aware that they only take cash. Brandon fixed my drive screws and corrected issues detected during windows repairs and full drive scans. He also bent back my keyboard into place. All for $100, I am beyond impressed. Very grateful for this shop and their quick service. Would highly recommend!!

If I could give this zero stars I would. My husband dropped off my computer for repair and then we waited to hear back. Two months and multiple unanswered calls I went in. The man I spoke to was very nice but he couldn’t find my computer so “it must be with Brandon in the warehouse”. He apologized up and down and even acknowledged that the person there didn’t really answer calls. I left annoyed to then get a call that my computer had been found. Like I said the guy I spoke was very nice and was knowledgeable but I found it exceptionally irritating to find out that they’d had my computer for 2 months and they hadn’t fixed it yet. I usually try to find something nice to say but other than the guy I spoke to being nice I can’t think of a single thing. I left with computer as I searched for a repair shop that might actually get the job done.

If you are considering using this company for your computer services, allow me to share my experience as a cautionary tale. I started coming here about 2 years ago, shortly after they opened. At first, I was elated. I finally found a computer place I trusted - heck until a week ago, I was among their 5 star reviews. My computer was behaving funny, so I took it in. I had a great time with Brandon, and they told me it was a bad hard drive. Ok. That's fine. Then, about 6 months later, it started doing THE EXACT SAME THING. I'm thinking,oh great. Another bad hard drive. I took it in, and had another pleasant interaction. Except, this time the "culprit" was an issue with windows update, apparently. Wierd, how it was the exact same symptoms. Well, another 6 or so months later, it started doing the exact same thing, AGAIN. This visit was not so great. Took them 3.5 months to "fix" my computer, and nobody could give me any update other than "Brandon was working on it." Every time I stopped by or called. When I picked it up, the culprit was viruses downloaded with my gaming mods. What happened next? You guessed it! About 6 months down the line, it was doing the same thing. I admit, I was a little annoyed, but up until the last time I had good experiences, so like an IDIOT I took it back. I finally got it back today. It's been 3 months. In that time, I have sent COUNTLESS emails, not one of which was responded to. I called, COUNTLESS times. Not once did they answer the phone. And the voicemail was full, so I couldn't leave a voicemail. I visited again, and again, and again, and even during their posted business hours they seemed to always be closed. It took my friend posing as a new customer and setting up an appointment for me to finally get in the damn door. I had literally gotten to the point of contacting the Washington county DAs office. Oh, and supposedly, for the fourth time WITH THE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS, it is now a busted motherboard. Either they don't know what they are doing, or they are intentionally misleading customers to leech them of money. TAKE YOUR COMPUTER LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE. At this point, they have taken over $300 from me and not fixed the problem at all. At least they were smart enough to not try and charge me this time, especially since it is in the exact same condition as when I dropped it off 3 months ago. They didn't fix it. He just flippant wrote "bad motherboard" on the page and then ignored me for months while I tried in vain to collect my $3000 gaming labtop. This is how they treat their loyal customers, folks. ***update: I took it to another repair store. In less than 24 hours, they isolated the problem and fixed it. It was a hard drive issue caused by overheating. Which is funny, because the temperature was a concern I brought up multiple times to GCS and was told each time that "these computers are designed to handle the heat." And that it couldn't possibly be the issue. Nevermind the fact that they supposedly fixed that issue for me the first time I brought it in. In 24 hours somewhere else I have received better, more informed assistance and a comprehensive education on how to properly care for my computer - that was not provided by GCS in almost 2 years of working with them.

I couldn't recommend a better computer place! My husbands laptop screen was going out and we took it in to these guys right away. They were up front with the price which included the part and labor, I love that I know how much I am paying and that there will be no hidden fees when I go to pick up the laptop. The owner did have some issues with the post office not delivering the part on time and was not working with this business. However Grove computer services stayed on top and let us know about the issue, while it did take a little longer than anticipated to get the screen fixed this was no fault of the company but the post office. I cannot blame the business for the post office mess up. I will be coming back to this business for any computer needs I may have. The repair of my husband's screen was done very quickly once they did get the part and they did it correctly, and willing to stay open just for us to pick the laptop up. I love the customer service these amazing guys give, keep up the good work!

I ordered a new part for my custom PC and must have damaged something when installing it. I took the whole Rig here and they were able to do a complete diagnostic, saving me lots of time. The Staff is very professional, transparent, friendly and knowledgable.
