Called Best buy to talk to geek squad about fixing my sons 75 in samsung tv. Geek squad representative was very nice in making the appt for me. She said 125.00 plus parts. When the repair person called we were quoted 125.oo for estimate, 110.00 for labor and extra for any parts needed. We immediately canceled the appt. We feel we were lied too by the lady making the appt. T hey need to be consistent with the pricing so a person knows spproximat

I brought my child’s device in that had been working my fine for years. Randomly it needs an update in order for the eSIM to work. I tried to do the update at home with Apple support. The device was stuck on verifying update. Well since i didn’t have a computer, Apple advised me to take it to the geek squad for the update. Well well well.. instead of the geek squad calling and asking for my permission, they decided they it was best fit to WIPE MY ENTIRE OPERATING SYSTEM AMD IMEI number from my device. I checked in a good working phone that at least could use Safari and mobile apps, text and FaceTime when on WiFi. I left with a phone that’s only good if I wanna use it as a FLASHLIGHT because it’s no longer any good. So at this point I have gone to my cellular service provider and I can’t even use the phone as a trade in without the geek squad re downloading the operating system on iTunes and reimagining my device. Thanks for destroying all that I had left to still use my device. I would highly NOT RECOMMEND GOING TO THIS LOCATION IF YOU WANT THINGS RIGHT! But this ID the perfect place if you want to just buy something new and verify your warranty.

I was impressed with the skills and quality service. My tech, Bond, took care of my problem in a matter of minutes.

Are the 5 star reviews from employees? Canton Best Buy and geek squad are just there to sell things for the store. You’ll probably end up paying way more to get a cell phone there vs. Verizon/at & t not the middle man Best Buy. Every time I’ve looked at tables and computers there the college kids working had literally no clue. Even an older person just point you a direction with empty shelves. They sold me a iPad case I had to waste time and take back when they promised it would fit but I knew it wouldn’t because the # but “they know best”. Didn’t fit and had to waste a trip. They just wanted big Black Friday sales. I could overhear them talking about who sold the most that day and things like that. All the employees I came across didn’t really know anything just general stuff you yourself can read on the display lol just as long as they have someone at the door to watch stealing..even tho they are part of the big corp robbing us. Haha. Been to this store 100s of times in the last 20 years.

My desktop pc once had an issue turning on & I thought it was a power supply failure. I purchased a new one, replaced it, and it would still be dead. I left it alone for almost a year & a half dejected… I decided to renew my GS membership to get it fixed. It turns out the power button switch short-circuited, so it was time to upgrade to a new pc case! 🤩 It used to be in a cramped CoolMaster square box shaped case, but I picked up my first proper desktop case for my custom pc and they assembled it together with better air flow. Thank you guys for the help! On my own I never considered that the power button switch could short, I was too focused on the power supply and at a glance I didn’t catch anything sus. It’s good to be able to use it again. 😎 Now I’m wondering if they can help me connect a wii remote to my laptop with the help of installing Arch Linux?
